I love the Brookfield Fava Tea store and the staff that run it. Karen has some of the friendliest staff of any store that I have been in. Every time I go they are always so cheerful and eager to help and even call me by name when I walk in the door. They take the time to learn what I like and don't like so they have new recommendations when I go in. Every recommendation that I've been given has been spot on. The Vanilla Mint Pu Erh is very good. The Cinnamon Plum has become my favorite (it's a shame it is only seasonal - I may have to pickup a pound to last through the summer). Java Fusion, Cloud 9, Vienna Breakfast, and many other recommendations have been terrific. I love that I can go there and just talk tea with them and they will answer any question I have. They will also be honest if they don't know something and will often ask another person working there.
The tea selection is fantastic and I have yet to come up with an idea of tea that I want that they don't carry. There is always something new to try or some new flavor I have yet to taste. With about 300+ different teas, there should be something for everyone, and if you don't know what to try, just ask.
Overall, this is an outstanding store with a wonderful staff, fantastic teas and selections, and top notch customer service. Karen and team (Belinda, Tamera, Becky, Frannie, and all the other names I have forgotten - Sorry!!); you have a...
Read moreFava tea is the place to be. I know that sounds cheesy, but I love the stores. It's a Wisconsin based company, so go home town! I love the fact that there are 300 + sniffers - samples of each tea that they sell, so you can sniff until you find one that tantalizes your taste buds. They have samples of all the teas they sell, usually rotating through all of them with hot or cold samples available daily. They have black, white, green, oolong, herbal and rooibos, which if you're not a tea drinker is an African red bush tea that tastes great and has no caffeine if you have to watch that in your diet. Some of my favorites are Fudge Brownie, Paris Evening, Winter Spice and Raspberry Burst. I have many more, but you'll have to go there yourself. There's one on Bluemound across from Kopp's, one in Greenfield north of Southridge and one in Appleton but I haven't ventured there. I also like the fact that the clerks who run the store are NOT PUSHY like another certain tea company can be. OY. Try this place - and you'll find a tea you like even if you think you're not a...
Read moreI will never return to this place. 2 older females rude and condescending met me at door and ask me what I wanted. I said to shop. She informed me not to open the big containers of tea and there were samples next to them to smell. Again she said what specifically are you looking for. I again repeated and said I am shopping. By this time I’m kinda stewing. I found 2 teas I wanted and took to counter. She yells at me you are not suppose to touch the canisters. I said then how are you going to pack them if I don’t bring them to you. She said ask me to get them I told you that. I said no you said do not open them. It’s like she didn’t want me there. I got my two teas which I’m sure will be great but will never return after being treated like that. Maybe she didn’t like my jeans and sweatshirt. White short hair on feb 8, 2025 about 4:30pm. Awful...
