Red dye is banned by FDA. When I tried to politely encourage the management to ditch artificial dyes and plastic containers as they make the food very poisonous, the owners were rude and dismissive. Now, if they continue to use such dyes, they can be sued. Tasty poison is how I would describe this food. Yes, the food is tasty and it's not cheap. However, it is the most toxic food you can eat or feed your family with. Literally every dish is made with artificial dyes and if you order takeout, hot food is ladled into plastic dishes. Just with these 2 practices, when you eat their food, you are poisoning yourself. Not to mention the seed oils, factory farmed chicken, pesticide laden wheat and vegetables. These last things I mentioned (which are all harmful to human health) is common to all junk food serving restaurants and even restaurants such as PF Changs. However, at least we are not getting the additional heaped serving of the artificial dyes. These food dyes are linked to ADHD, anxiety, allergies, cancer, hormonal diseases, and may more conditions. Research is clear on this. Even Kellogg's is facing huge back lash about this. CA has banned use of food dyes in food served in schools. Now, most Indian restaurants locally and nation wide use these dyes to color the tandoori chicken, the biriyani, butter chicken etc. However, when I am placing a large take out order, I always request the restaurant to not add any dyes to any of the food that I order. I never had any other restaurant disagree. Not this one - the management instead argued with me that dyes are safe and they refused to prepare my order to my specific request! As a mom and holistic doctor, I am well versed with problems w chemicals in our food system. To have the owners blatantly disregard a customer's concerns was alarming. What if I had an allergic reaction to a dye? Would they still refuse to cater to my request? I do not support businesses that are not concerned for the wellbeing of its patrons. Like Kellogg is facing a ban, all such restaurants that use known poisons in the preparation of their food should also be banned. This particular restaurant cannot claim ignorance of this issue as they have been well educated on this topic.

Extremely disappointing experience at Nawabi Hyderabad House. We went for dinner and ordered Satthi Babu Biryani and Goat Dum Biryani. The Satthi Babu Biryani was dripping with oil — absolutely unpleasant. The so-called “Goat Dum Biryani” was clearly lamb, and when we questioned it, the server flat out lied. We know the difference in taste, and it was insulting to be treated like we wouldn’t notice. On top of that, the service was terrible. The server was rude, full of attitude, and completely unwelcoming. Every time we’ve visited, the food comes out very late, and it feels like customers are not taken seriously at all. This place manipulates customers, serves low-quality food, and treats people poorly. Definitely the worst dining experience we’ve had — would not recommend at all.

08/04: 3rd order since soft launch of this franchise. Kinda disappointed with the way food is made. Biryani is just “Dum Rice”. There’s barely any Biryani masala or gravy to it. This isn’t the yellow basmati rice that you want from a Mediterranean place. Someone who claimed to be head chef was least bothered to take feedback, especially in its soft launch phase. Masakkali paneer biryani, the paneer has consistently been harder once it cooled down, for the second time in a row! 2nd order was on the 18th of July timeframe and the same sad hard paneer story! Thought 3rd time is going to be a charm but no!

I was very excited to see my favorite franchise in my home town my experience with hyderabad house was the one in buffalo groove which was were we regular go driving for an hour so was super thrilled to see it open up close but thats where my excitement ended. Ordered a takeout and the first thing we notice was the size , we ordered two regular sized biryani’s which is generally tht my family loves so imagine my disappointment when we saw the size of “regular” the one we get from buffalo groove is much bigger which was comfortable foe two people they have budget size which i think is what Brookfield location is selling as regular so there goes the stars but mind you the price of the regular is similar to tht of buffalo groove with much smaller box size. 2. We ordered a panner biryani and chicken, panner was of ok i wouldnt say grt coz ther was much gravy towards the bottom that was disappointing and the chicken biryani had far less meat than what we used to get from the other location. We did not dine in but the location looked good and welcoming have to give it but if the food was portioned right tht would be wonderful not sure if its because of soft opening or its the actual size, for any one who have visited hyderabad house other location can immediately see the difference. So glad its near but not sure if this is something i would often visit coz for the price and quantity of food im getting its a pass I might visit if i have serious cravings for biryani but would not be as often as i would . I really thing the buffalo groove locations is far better for ur bucks and experience tht truely sad...

Hyderabad House stands out as having some really really delicious food that's authentic, cooked with care, and is extremely high quality... except the fact that last two times I've ordered from the restaurant there is always some sort of issue.

The staff here at hyderabad house that are not in the kitchen just do not care one single bit about their jobs. The level of customer service they exhibit is pretty much close to none. They consistently do a disservice to the staff in the kitchen that cook great tasting food because they are so inept. I placed an online order once at 4:30 pm. Granted, I was not aware the kitchen closes at 4 pm and reopens at 5 but this is still their fault ultimately because I could still place the order with no warning. I waited an hour and 13 minutes for my food. Today I ordered a dosa, it came with no sambar and no chutney just a plain dosa. What am I supposed to do with a plain dosa? Thanks for the organic napkin, I guess. When everything goes right, the food here is great, my tamil girlfriend loves the food(also when everything goes right) but just be warned; You may or may not get everything you ordered and it more than likely will be 10-15 minutes later than their estimate. Not because the place is extremely busy, which sometimes it is, but because...
