Iāve been meaning to write a positive review about this place because the people that work there are generally the nicest people on earth. Until today, March 15. The line was extremely long into the aisle and the cashier did not call a backup cashier until after I put my food on the belt. No biggie. Glad she finally did call someone. Since I ripped my toilet paper, I carried it over to her to scan and she told me to put it on the belt. Which didnāt have any space because the customer behind me had already started loading his stuff. So I had to move his groceries back. When I put my reusable shopping bag down into the cart as the cart was filling up, I stated that it was ok to put the rest of the food in there. I started to become confused as to why ESMERALDA was THROWING my stuff in the bag every which way so I started organizing it so my bread, eggs and other food isnāt crushed. As Iām trying to sort things out as fast as possible to not hold up the line, ESMERALDA shoves the shopping cart really hard into me. ESMERALDA literally assaulted me with the shopping cart! ESMERALDA is the only employee I came across at this location that has this type of attitude. If she did not like me, or had something against me, then the she could have called another cashier over before I put my food on the belt so that I could have been treated better by someone else. Very disappointed to receive this treatment at a location where everyone else is extremely kind to me and other customers. This customer service really is not typical of this location and I hope management...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAldi is a German company who came up with cost effective ways to keep their prices as low as possible. At first it was an adjustment because one way they keep costs down is by having shopping carts linked together and you have to put a quarter in to get a cart. When you return your cart you get your quarter back, but this eliminates the need to hire extra people to run out for carts.
Food is packaged specifically for Aldi so while specific brands are not on the label, the food is the same food you buy with major brand names. If labels are more important to you than price, this is not the store for you.
Inventory is kept to the basics and most popular items so you can shop for what you need and skip all the fluff. Everything is satisfaction guaranteed so if you aren't happy, you don't have to worry about wasting your money.
My family saves so much money every week that we can afford things otherwise unaffordable.
I think the ppl who started this store got it perfect. Quality food at more than reasonable prices even if saving money is not a priority, savings can be used for...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePretty sad - 14 carts in line 1 cashier . Other employees . Walking by .. looking at us like sucks to be you . It I wanted to be treated like Iām shopping at Walmart . Iāll go to Walmart . My cart is left in the aisle half way down to the back wall of cold . Since thatās where I stood for over 15 mins with no line movement - the line getting bigger and every other employee just looking at the check out and shrugging . Then you donāt have phone numbers to the store - and donāt even have a customer service line for your corporate office . What a joke Aldi . Iād rather pay the extra money and have the customer service of target - pick n save...
