Friendly's — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

So I ordered delivery for my family this evening and they failed to give the items I ordered. Two out of three items were missing. That should’ve been a hint to the Dasher, but obviously it wasn’t. So upon trying to find out what happened, my items were still at the store and in the freezer, so I chose to drive up there, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. After speaking to both staff, and eventually the manager, who asked the worker why the order wasn’t given to the Dasher. The person simply said I don’t know, and the reality of it is because he didn’t give it because they were too lazy in the back to actually check orders. The restaurant was absolutely dead. There was one table of people there so they can’t even say that they were overwhelmed. And when I said, how can we correct this because I already tipped somebody for a service that was not fulfilled, the answer was that they couldn’t do anything for me except if I come back maybe get me a free ice cream. There has been a few issues with this location before, but I will never return to this place again...

My boyfriend and I arrived around 5:15ish. It took about seven minutes for us to even be acknowledged that we were waiting to be sat. There was only one other table in the restaurant. When we were finally greeted and brought to our table, the waitress flung our menus on the table.

A male server came and took our order. 30 mins passed and we still had yet to receive our food. Only two tables. The female waitress that sat us went to the other table (which was hers) and told them that their machines were down and that they were only accepting cash. Mind you, we had overhead her yelling about that in the back ten minutes ago and we’re waiting for someone to come tell us that. We only had cards. We’re they going to tell us when we had all ready ate? We told her that and she said that she was sorry. We got out of the booth and she went to the back to tell the cook to stop making the food. We only ordered a honey barbecue supermelt sandwich and an alohan chicken stir fry. 30 mins it took since we placed our order and they still weren’t even done cooking it yet....

I ate here today to celebrate my daughter's dance recital. My husband and son were with us. The service was horrible. We arrived at 12:30 and left at 2:30. My husband and I ordered 2 philly steak sandwiches and my kids had 2 kids meals. What really made the service horrible is it took 45 minutes or longer to get 2 medium sundaes and 2 kids meal ice creams. The woman took our ice cream order and went over it with us. 20 minutes later a male worker came by and said the ice cream order got messed up and we had to tell him our order. When we finally got the ice cream, all 3 toppings for my son were incorrect and they had to correct it. I told the mgr it took so long to get the ice cream. The mgr didn't say anything. "Never again" my husband said. We are not returning and we use to like this location over the Miller Place one that had closed. We don't understand why Friendly's can't offer good service anymore like other restaurants do. I had Friendly's coupons and handed them out to 3 tables since we won't be...
