I went here recently with my fiance and the food was absolutely delicious. We're very happy that an All You Can Eat (AYCE) Sushi place has opened up in this town because most of those places are in the middle of the island or even further out west. We enjoyed the food very much and ate a lot. We had kitchen items and the sushi, and they were both really tasty. We really loved the Paradise Roll and recommend that. The staff were very nice and fast. When I was out of my drink and I took the last sip, she heard the sip and quickly came over, asking me if I wanted more drink. To be fair, my fiance and I were the only customers at the time, but either way, it was awesome that she paid attention and was fast at attending to us.
We went on a Saturday around 3ish to 4ish and was charged for the dinner price. Im assuming the weekends are dinner price, but not 100% sure since I can't find info about that on their website. The dinner price was $32 per person, and the soda is $3 with free refills. To spend money per person at this AYCE Sushi place, I'd say maybe between $20 -$40 dollars depending if you're going for Lunch or Dinner and the drinks you purchase.
I'm not sure if this place is still the same owner as Tony's Sushi, but I would assume so since when I paid with my credit card, the statement said Tony's Sushi instead of Island Sushi on it. Either way, it's not a problem because this place is really good.
Lastly, here's some pictures I took when I was sending them to...
Read moreThe food was really bad. I ordered an Alaskan roll and a Spicy Salmon roll(with crunchies) for the lunch combo. The rolls are small, and the salmon roll was extra soggy even the crunchies had no crunch as if it was made the day before. The alaskan roll was a mystery to me. There was no salmon, or cucumber, all it had was avocado in the middle, rice around it, and then the seaweed paper on the outside... I opened my salad which was included and it looked old. I tried the cucumber which was dry like it sat out in the sun and then I smelt the dressing. The dressing smelt foul. I looked at the miso soup and I was too scared to try it. I've had bad gas all day after eating the sushi rolls, an the rest of the meal went in the trash. I will never be back. Not worth the risk. New...
Read moreBeware when visiting this restaurant. They charge you whatever they want. I was over charged and not informed about the different pricing. Apparently they charge more to dine in but there is no sign posted anywhere and no one informed me of this at any point during my visit. I happened to notice the difference in prices at the end of my meal and the owner cursed instead of being reasonable when I brought it up. It’s not a service charge/percentage, they just add dollars to make dining in more expensive than take out. I never seen anyone operate a business like this and I will not...
