What happened to Taco Bell? I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and the changes made in the past year or so ruined this location. There’s someone taking your order in drive through and they won’t let you pull up. Why? Because they’re timed from when you pass the order menu sign to when you pick up your order. Today the drive through was out to the street so I went inside. There was only one person eating inside, one person waiting for an order and one person ordering. No line! When I go to place my order I am told that I have to order at the kiosk and can’t place my order at the counter. I explained that I usually order meximelts which are no longer on the menu and I can’t order them at the kiosk. The Woman comes from around the counter and places my order on the kiosk. She then goes to the register to adjust it. I then had to wait 19 minutes to get my food. During that time I learned that the person who was waiting when I entered was a door Dash drive And was waiting over 20 minutes for the food he was delivering. There were more than five other food delivery drivers that came in while I was waiting. Everyone working there seems very pleasant. And I should mention that they my order was wrong. I didn’t get a meximelts. I got a cheesy roll up. clearly is a problem with ownership/management. Why are they putting these restrictions or processes on their employees? I am done with Taco Bell. As a former employee that was pushed to the breaking point and stood up for myself I was fired for cursing at the temporary store manager in the heat of the moment when she was being disrespectful of a spinal injury I got before working there. I was almost there a year with no issues about my injury as the former store manager that hired me knew about my injury and was willing to work with me, every other manager and co-worker were willing to work with me, but not her. She kept up with singling me out until I snapped, being belittled in-front of customers and co-workers about needing to learn how to do my job and blaming me for small mistakes caused me to start arguing back, but as soon as she became condescending about my injury and mimicking things I couldn't do I fully snapped at her disrespect and cursed at her before choosing to go home before I lost my temper further. I am normally a polite person with no history of ever snapping at a manager or co-worker, yet because of one word I've been fired while this Manager keeps her job and will continue to yell and humiliate employees in front of customers, she'll blame employees for her mistakes and blame them for any mistake. When I tried to explain my side to the district manager she completely ignored me and didn't care at all about my side of the story. One of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. I was here around 8 pm ET on the evening of 10/28/23. The drive through was backed up into the street and there were more than a dozen patrons waiting inside for food they had ordered via the mobile app.
There was no one working at the counter!
Food was being made by the kitchen and placed on to the mobile pickup kiosk but no one was there to distribute it to customers.
At least two staff members walked by the crowd of people waiting for their food, inquiries were made and in both instances these staff members threw up their hands and said either “my shift is ending” or “I can’t help you.”
Finally, after some screaming in the kitchen someone came out and started handing out the orders from the mobile pickup kiosk.
I waited over thirty minutes to collect 10 items of food; after I finally received the order, and arrived home, two of the items I ordered were missing entirely. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised given how poorly the business is run.
Avoid this location, it’s absolute chaos and very clear that staff members don’t care about customers.
