The whole, yelling "Welcome to Moe's" thing when customers walk in the door never sat well with me. It always felt overwhelming and just plain weird to have the food service workers yell at you when you walk in the door. As well as when you're sitting down to eat your burrito with your gf or family, hearing them yell their greeting while you're trying to enjoy your food and company is disruptive and unsettling. It's not a huge deal, I can ignore it. However, it is offputting. I understand that they want to greet each and every customer, but that is what a hostess is for, which they don't have, and honestly isn't necessary from a fast food place. Stop yelling at us, please. It's too great a distance to greet us from behind a steamy, sizzling grill with music playing from above. I think the idea is that they are supposed to be smiling, energetic, warm and welcoming, but food service is a tough job. You can't expect them to be in the best mood at all times. Customers can be brutal. As a result, it just comes off as yelling when they are required to say the greeting regardless of their mood. If the delivery of the greeting was more positive and friendly, it would be received totally differently. However, I can see how it might be very draining to always be happy and smiling and energetic, and it's not super realistic to expect from employees. Friendly, yes, however, the problem is the distance from the counter to the door is too great with all the background noise to be able to greet without raising the voice. It seems like a lot to focus on, having good customer service to the customer in front to you, and also monitor the door at all times. The food service line part seems hard enough. As for the service itself once you get to the counter, it's good. Most are friendly and the food is good. I will be returning occasionally as I do. Read moreI like the food at Moe's and the location is clean, not overly crowded, and has comfortable seating. I've used them for catering once too. However, in general, I find the prices to be high for what you get. Also, their menu isn't as straightforward as it used to be. My most recent visit to this location resulted in a bill over $40.00 for two adult meals (3 steak tacos per meal), one fountain drink, a Jr burrito, and one kids meal. We didn't order anything extra. The assembly line method of preparing the order doesn't help with the staff communication and by the time the cashier tallies everything up based on handwritten acronyms on your wrapped food items, your left wondering how the bill got to that amount. Then you think back to when the cashier needed clarification from a prep attendant on one or two items, you start to think you were overcharged in some way. It would make more sense to have the order entered into a modern POS system first. I'm going to recommend that you definitely clarify what you were charged if you have any questions, because I seem to have more onfusion or problems when the floor manager is the cashier. Read moreI stopped coming to this location for 6 months. They did not improve my opinion or experience since that time. The line is out the door because they cannot keep up with the demand of online to go orders and the in person line at the same time. They are understaffed having only 2 people focus on the production and creation of the food. Both employees behind the line were only focused on the to go orders while the line had to wait and they took one party that was ordering in the restaurant for every 3-4 to go orders they were making. When my husband and I went to pay for our food they didn’t know which order was ours after directing them many times as to what we ordered. The bathroom is disgusting. We went to go take our toddler and found two cockroaches and a small bag of what looked like prescription pills. The floor underneath our table was sticky and completely covered in chips, various other food, and garbage. They clearly do not do lobby sweeps.
Overall I will NEVER come back to this location. I expected better with covid regulations and how clean things need to be in order for their being open to exist. We were met with disgust with both cleanliness...
