Well what's to say that you don't already know for yourself. This place is the bomb. Food always taste fresh. The service is great. The table seating is ok depending on what side of the restaurant they put you in. The bathrooms are in the front of the building where you entered. The drinks were amazing. The ambiance is what sells the experience. Some of the best Italian food around. Will be returning for another date night with the wife. This time we drinks instead of wine. Which the Primo Amore Moscato is the best I've ever tasted. It's a house wine but very delicious. The wife had ordered chicken marsala with fettuccine and a margarita while I had ordered chicken and shrimp with angel hair pasta. I think. It's was super delicious. I had a spiked strawberry lemonade which hands down hit the spot. We also ordered the new meatball appetizer which was ok. What really set the dinner off right was the soups and salad we received before our meals. The chicken gnocchi was the best starter i have ever had the pleasure of indulging in. Has every taste of heaven in it. The salad was huge it was fresh and it was gone within the first 5 min of being on the table. Our date night was a super success thanks to the wonderful extravagance wizarding at The Olive Garden. See you soon.

We do not get to Olive Garden as often as I would like, but we should because I always enjoy their restaurant, the food, service and the atmosphere. Tonight Sam was out waitress. She is such a personable person and took awesome care of our table. Her service was spot on and fast. Timing was perfect too. We started with the giant salad bowl (yum) and their wonderful bread sticks. We ordered appetizers, fried calamari and the Fried stuffed ziti which vane with marinara dressing and alfredo dressing. They were delicious! For dinner, we had the shrimp scampi, fettuccine alfredo and fettuccine alfrefo with shrimp. I went with my favorite, the Tour of Italy which is a chicken parm, fettuccine alfredo and lasagna. Everything tasted delicious, hot and the prions were plenty!!! The chicken cutlet was good but they really should put the cutlet in sauce. Topped with cheese. They just seem to ladle sauce on the top and then place cheese on top. The bottom was bare, no sauce. Dessert we had tiramisu and a chocolate dolce somthing!! This was a mini desert. The Tira Misu was delicious. All in all, the food was delicious, tasty, nice portions and hot. Sam was a terrific waitress, next time I'm in, I'm asking for Sam.

We we're driving around and looking for some place we haven't been to. We decided to go in because we haven't been in here for years. The hostess is very courteous they seated us and they took her order. We we're seated in the farthest back corner and had to continuously waved down our server after our food with served. I had better luck asking other servers to find her. I mean you drop off a dish at the other table in our section and never look our way much less check in with us. I got the tour of Italy and it tasted like it was heated in the microwave. The Alfredo was overcooked the sauce was bland and the paste not lucky enough to get sauce was cold and looks like it was sitting out and turning brown. something you'd see from like being microwave. The lasagna was burnt on one side. The chicken Parm was crispy so I guess it hit a pan. My wife's dish was clearly frozen shrimp from a bag. It was so sad to see her trying to saw through the shrimp. The picture below is my dinner. Finished the salad like a big boy.

THIS WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!!! We got to our local OG & Were greeted by a very nice young lady that immediately seated us. Although it was dinner hr it was not very busy so we were able to get a booth & were greeted by our waiter, David, quickly. I think that’s the last good thing I can write about the visit! ARGH!! Our Waiter approach our table, asked us for our order which was very simple: We both took the salad, Ordered the Fried calamari as an appetizer & 2 orders of the 4 Cheese Manicotti. After a bit, our salad & Breadsticks arrived & we requested a small dish of grated cheese to put on it so we wouldn’t have to wait each time we wanted more on our salad or our meal - BEEN THERE DONE THAT!! David said no problem & disappeared. After a long while he emerged only to help another table - NO CHEESE IN HAND, so We asked again for the grated cheese, He said “oh I’m sorry, he forgot, I’ll get that for you now”. BUT INSTEAD OF IMMEDIATELY GETTING THE CHEESE BECAUSE HE KNOWS WE’VE ASKED 2X NOW & BEEN WAITING (not yet starting our salads) HE DECIDED THE RIGHT THING TO DO WAS TO STOP AT ANOTHER TABLE ? I’ m so sorry, but we’re talkin’ ABSOLUTELY NO COMMON SENSE In this kid!!! He finished w/ them & VANISHED AGAIN!, LEAVING US SITTING THERE STILL WAITING FOR THE FREAKIN’ CHEESE! At this point, we started looking around, thinking maybe we were being “Pranked” I was sure of it,, After all this was a REALLY simple request? When our waiter resurfaced, he had a tray full of food & began waiting on YET another table INSTEAD OF US? .HE MOVED ON FROM THEM TO SERVE A 2nd TABLE THEIR FOOD, AS WELL AS STOPPING ON THE WAY OUT OF OUR SECTION TO TAKE A BRAND NEW ORDER FROM A TABLE OF 3 - ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME DAVID? ?? We both sat there, thinking, this kid is SO In the wrong profession! !David FINALLY EMERGED WITH THE DISH OF CHEESE IN HAND ONLY TO TELL US (WAIT FOR IT?) THAT THE OG HAD NOW RUN OUT OF MANICOTTI ! CAN YOU SAY WTF BOYS & GIRLS? I For one was now OFFICIALLY done! , Got up asked for a manager , who Appeared after a bit. The manager (although a Pleasant woman) asked us what was happening, We filled her in exactly as you’ve just read here & it was she that coined the phrase “NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE” Nope, they got that right at least!! We agreed & requested the check for our half eaten breadstick's, our now wilted salad & untouched calamari !!! The Mgr. suggested we order something else since the manicotti was not an option anymore. But I for one had had enough of this dog & pony show. All I could hear was Monty Python screaming in my ear “RUNAWAY!!!” When we passed on her idea said she could do some thing about the calamari we ordered, AS IF SHE WAS DOING US A FAVOR OF SOME KIND ??? HELLOOO? WE HAD N’T EVEN TOUCHED IT OR GOTTEN TO EAT OUR SALADS YET? Seriously? Full disclosure, as said earlier, we did eat a breadstick OUT OF SHEER DESPERATION !!! All I kept thinking to say to her (Which I respectfully did not ) was “Thank you so much for offering us ice in the winter, but I think we’re gonna pass on that one!!!” After nearly an hour of waiting & eating Nothing more than a breadstick, we high-tailed it out of there still as hungry as we were when we walked in the door !!! WHEN WE GOT IN THE CAR, WE BOTH LOOKED AT EACH OTHER & SAID WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE ??? Sorry People, Definitely not an experience you wanna have on the one lousy night a week off you get to eat out !!! GEES LOUISE!!! THANK YOU, OLIVE GARDEN FOR RUINING A PERFECTLY GOOD EVENING - SO DISAPPOINTING!! Zero stars, If I could. But the atmosphere was its usual pleasant although average self. The food got 1 star BECAUSE WE DIDN’T GET TO EAT ANYTHING!! !& the service, Well, what can I say? DAVIDS JUST A KID WHO WAS OBVIOUSLY POORLY TRAINED & could definitely Use a few more yrs under his belt to learn how to use his “noggin” in situations like this!!! DEFINITELY CAN’T RECOMMEND OG Centereach! Sad Because the it used to be a simple, fun, family night out… What Happened- I...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Olive Garden in Centereach, Long Island – A Perfect Homecoming Dinner with Unmatched Service!

After being away for a while, the first place I wanted to take my wife and our 1½-year-old son was Olive Garden in Centereach—and let me tell you, it was the absolute best decision! From the warm welcome to the unbelievably delicious food and flawless service, this location exceeded every expectation and reminded me why Olive Garden is a beloved favorite.

The Food? Absolutely Incredible – As Always! 🍝🔥 Let’s be real—it’s Olive Garden. You KNOW the food is going to be amazing! My wife and I both ordered pasta dishes, and they were cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. And can we talk about the legendary breadsticks?! Warm, buttery, garlicky, and UNLIMITED—need I say more? It’s one of the many reasons Olive Garden stands out. Even our little one enjoyed his butter pasta (though, as toddlers do, he decided the floor needed a taste too—more on that later!).

Service That Goes ABOVE AND BEYOND – Truly 1 of a Kind! 👏❤️ The staff at this location deserves a standing ovation. From the moment we walked in, someone was right there at the front to greet us with a smile. Our waiter was attentive, kind, and genuinely made sure we were enjoying our meal—but in the perfect way. He checked on us just enough to ensure we had everything we needed without being overbearing (you know how some places hover too much? Not here!).

And then there was the real test—our tiny tornado of a son decided his mealtime mission was to redistribute his butter pasta all over the floor. Instead of giving us annoyed looks (which, let’s be honest, some places do), the staff laughed in the sweetest way—they thought he was adorable! When I started cleaning up (because, you know, good parenting), they immediately reassured me, “No, it’s okay—we’ve got this!” (I still helped, but the gesture alone meant so much). That’s the kind of kindness and patience you RARELY find anymore.

Family-Friendly, Welcoming, and Just an All-Around Amazing Experience 👨👩👦💖 This Olive Garden understands what hospitality is all about. They made us feel relaxed, welcomed, and valued—even with a messy toddler in tow. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was consistently delicious, and the service was so good that other restaurants should take notes.

Final Verdict: A Must-Visit – Perfect for Families, Dates, or Just Because! If you’re looking for a fantastic meal with top-tier service in a family-friendly environment, this Olive Garden in Centereach is the place to go. Whether it’s the addictive breadsticks, the hearty pasta dishes, or the unmatched kindness of the staff, everything about our visit was exceptional.

I can’t recommend this location enough—thank you for making our first meal back so memorable! We’ll DEFINITELY be back soon! 🍷🍝✨

Our server never came over to us. We were seated in an area that there was NO one else. So we tried to be patient. We ordered drinks through the Kiosk, still no server. Then we pushed the call server button still no server. I then after another 10 minutes I happened to catch the host walking by and asked her if she knew who our server was. Emily another hostess came over immediately and apologized and asked if we wanted drinks. We ordered drinks. The server finally came over, didn't introduce himself so I have no name. He asked if we wanted drinks. We said we ordered them through the Kiosk and through Emily. She then brought our drinks while he was standing there. He then asked for our orders. The salad and bread sticks were finally brought. No refills were offered. The manager came over to apologize and Matt seemed nice (we did not request the manager). We declined the free app offer as we had already ordered and we said we understand mistakes happen. The server never checked back. He only brought out our meals. My daughter had the Fettuccine Alfredo and the amount of pasta barely covered the bottom of the dish. It truly looked like a child's portion. I ordered the Ziti and it was not great. The server NEVER came back to check if we needed drink refills or if we the food was ok, or if we wanted more breadsticks. The hostess Emily was coming by and noticed we had no drinks and offered us more drinks. The waiter never came back to see if we wanted desserts or anything. He only came back to clear the plates after I paid the bill on the kiosk and was filling out the survey, Matt had also offered us a free dessert but since both he and the server never came back that was not given as well. I do not understand the point of the Kiosk if the server does not even pay...
