We ordered 2 pizzas from here and not only did they mess up our order, the pizzas didn't even come with any sauce (at least none that we can taste). If I order a specialty pizza from a pizza store, I expect them to get the ingredients on their SPECIALTY pizza correct. What kind of pizza store gets their "specialty" wrong?!?!?!! That's like ordering a Big Mac at McDonalds and getting a chicken wrap. No. No. No. No. No.
After realizing THEIR mistake, I politely called the store to let them know (at which point I would have accepted a reorder with the correct toppings). The guy Shawn goes on to tell me that the Tropical Luau is NOT canadian bacon, pineapples, and bell pepper, but rather pineapples and chicken. WHO ORDERS PINEAPPLES AND CHICKEN together!?!?!! I’m confused, at which point he rudely tells me that it's an error on MY end, and I should call customer support. The nerve on this dude...to tell me that I have the menu wrong when he could've easily looked it up. Actually, he shouldn't even have to look it up, if he's the "manager", he should know what a f'n Tropical Luau is. Like how many f'n pizzas do you have to make before you become manager at a pizza joint?
I then proceed to call customer service, who confirms that the pizza should have included canadian bacon, pineapple, and bell pepper. She doesn't even understand why he had me call customer service when he should have looked up the menu. She apologized and filed a claim with upper management. I thank her for her help, and hang up.
At this point, I can't get over the fact that Shawn, the manager, had the nerve to tell me that I'm wrong. I've worked in customer service; I know the customer isn't always right, but I was. So of course, I call the store back only to get hung up on by Shawn. I'm livid inside at this point, but I'm calm and collected when I hit redial.
He goes on to explain that I was RIGHT, and that he'd be happy to make me a new pizza. After having to spend the previous 30 minutes on the phone to fix the situation, the last thing I want is another pizza, so I ask for a refund. He says I’ll have to call back on Monday when the general manager is in. Okay, I can live with that. THEN, he wants to cover his a* by making sure I understood that he offered to make a new pizza. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO, Shawn. You don't get to cover your a* after being rude AND wrong. I tell him, the last thing I want is another f'n pizza, I want my money back. At which point poor little Shawn wants me to show him some respect. WRONG AGAIN!!! You don't get to be rude, wrong, and get respect.
I knew I should've never ordered pizza from a generic franchise when I could've gotten authentic NY pizza down the street. If you’re reading this Shawn, learn the f’n menu if you’re going to get manager pay, and put some f’n sauce on the pizzas. I refuse to ever order from Papa...
Read moreSo I want to tell you a little situation that occurred with my order recently. This is the first time where I used the Papa John app and for some reason it did not have the correct address. I did call after some time to inquire where my pizza was however I was put on hold from a national call center I believe and never got through to the local store. today I called and I was able to get through to the local store I can buy them that I never received my pizza and they had provided me with proof that the delivery guy went to the house upon further investigating and then sending me a picture of the receipt it turns out the issue was the address was incorrect. A gentleman did advised that this is something that would have been an error on my part however I don't recall ever typyin the address. Ultimately they did make the pizza and they did attempt to deliver it to the address indicated from the app. Unfortunately I didn't receive it. But the good news is the owner or manager was willing to do right by his customer. He did offer to give me my order today free of charge with the exception of delivery. Which I was happily to oblige by. I appreciate it although he was right and technically did not have to give me my order as they did run to the services accordingly. he did advise me that has delivery person did attempt to text me I'm his manager attempted to call me. For whatever the reason I did not receive the text or the phone call. But I am very happy to see that he stood by his word and honored the situation. I think that the shows they stand by the product and stand by the situation even if the error was on the customer part due the Papa John app not correctly working. I even attempted to delete the wrong address but no go I think I will have to uninstall the app and reinstall it. I like to thank manager Khan for doing right. I will be back for more 🍕. Thank you again for your...
Read moreI've been ordering from this since we've moved into the neighboorhood. These last few months they have been getting the order wrong. A simple mix up. I order thin crust and square cut bc I have small kids. Lately they have not been been square cut. The 1st 2 times I didn't call. I cut it into pieces for my kids. The last 2 times i called. Tonight I called and the guy I spoke to who I found out to be Raj was very rude and unprofessional! He started raising his voice and yelling. Then he tells me "you can get a knife and cut it yourself" excuse me! When is ever ok to tell a customer that??? So he says he will send another pizza out. I say okay and hang up. Then I call right back and tell him I'm coming to the store to pick up my pizza and bring the incorrect one back. I call to tell him and more rudeness from him. I tell him his customer service is trash and he says he doesn't care! Smdh! I get up there and he starts out with a raised voice immediately. My husband steps in and tells him he's not gonna talk to me in that manner in front of him. Raj then smartly says well how do you want me to talk to your ma'am. He is very rude and unprofessional! I got my money back and on the way out he picks up the pizza and throws it across the floor. WE WILL NEVER EVER order from...
