Taco Bell — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

Pretty decent food. Never had an issue with that. I’m not sure who they’re hiring for the drive thru though, because I’ve encountered some interesting individuals. They’re rude, they rush you through your order which then causes them to mess things up. Tonight I went here for the first time in months because we were passing through selden. My friend and I ordered literally one thing each (after being told to hold on for several minutes as soon as we arrived at the drive thru meanwhile there was no line whatsoever). And then we ordered two drinks (no ice—because they always fill it up with way too much ice and then you basically get no drink). We waited for a few more minutes. The cashier, who also took the order, didn’t say a word to us. Handed us our drinks, which were full of ice, which is when we asked if we could please have no ice as previously requested. He made a big sigh and a few minutes later handed us our food with the two drinks. Again, he didn’t say a word the whole time which I felt was extremely rude. Also didn’t give us a receipt which is why I’m left to review on google since I am unable to submit a survey to Taco Bell directly with the persons name. Anyway. Long story short: my drink tasted like he filled it up with water halfway (I got lemonade), and my friend, who ordered a Pepsi, got diet instead. Also got the wrong order (I ordered a chicken quesarito, got beef somehow instead) Hopefully none of this was done on purpose. Regardless, the drive thru doesn’t give you a good feel...

I rarely write a review but i think this one is necessary. This Selden taco bell is extremely unprofessional and female staff is rude. One day I went through drive thru to order breakfast and an iced coffee. I asked if steak was an option for any of the breakfast items and the girl rudely said no?? and listed my options in a short tempered manner. Further, I asked for iced coffee and she said the machine was broken. As a McDonalds employee, I know things like this happen. However, McDonalds iced coffees are made separately from regular coffee. Therefore i was UNAWARE that Taco Bell coffee and iced coffee were made together. So I tried asking for a hot coffee and the employee said "I SAID WE DONT HAVE ANY COFFEE IT IS BROKEN." At this point I was in such shock at her manner and lack of customer service skills that I drove away. For a long time I avoided this location until recently. When I went in, the same girl I believe that talked to me over drive thru was working. Employees were watching shows/music on phones loudly. Also, the girl was blatantly making fun of the person who's order she just took. These observations were made just from sitting in the Taco Bell for less than 10 minutes. I would rather travel to a different location than ever go back to this one. No wonder theres hardly any customers...

Went in the building to order, I was the only one in there, no one at the register. They must have been having a meeting/ argument in the back with who I think is the manager. I stood there for a good 8 minutes before I said something to them. Only to be ignored for another maybe 4ish minutes. Finally the drive thru guy took my order, He was very nice and apologized for my wait. Then had to wait even longer for my food as the manager was literally cursing out the workers in the back. The cashier must have been on break, bec she came in from outside and stood behind the register. I asked her, do you think they can have their little meeting after they make the food I ordered. She said I'm so sorry and went in the back and made my order. And gave it to me. If it wasn't for the drive thru guy and the front cashier who knows how long I would have been standing there. It seemed to me the manager was very rude and unprofessional to her staff. What she was saying was very uncalled for and loud that I heard her. I went there on my break from work to pick up some food for myself and some coworker's. What should have been at most a 15 min experience turned into a 30 min nightmare. Because I was late getting back to my job. I don't think I will ever goto that taco...
