Red Lobster — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

So… it’s been a while since I’ve dined in anywhere especially my fave joint, Red Lobster and they did not disappoint this hungry girl in the least!

Started off with a cocktail of of course! Ordered the Tropic Treasure cocktail which was a delicious blend of Martell VSSD Cognac, Malibu Coconut Rum, piña colada mix & a tropical juice blend. It was lip smacking & tongue pleasingly good!!! A def reorder on my list for next time surely.

Next, ordered some starters/appetisers. Began with my fave seafood stuffed mushrooms They were pure heaven! Topped with garlic butter & melted cheese, it was surely a delight indeed. Followed that with a second starter of bacon wrapped sea scallops. The scallops were huge, clean tasting as well as tender, while the bacon was crisp & hit the spot. The scallops came with a lovely, lovely fresh salad as an accompaniment.

Dinner was quite the sharable feast as well! Ordered the Salmon New Orleans which came with 2 sides. I opted for the steamed broccoli & a fresh garden salad tossed with French dressing. The salmon was broiled with Cajun blackened seasoning & topped with shrimp & tomatoes in a delectable, savoury & creamy Cajun sauce. The salmon was cooked to perfection with a nice temperature of a cool, pink center. Next was Walt’s Favourite fried shrimp. It has always been a fave of mine here as well and it did not disappoint in the least! The shrimp was tender, beautifully breaded, clean tasting & uber delicious. It was paired with the famed Red Lobster thick & creamy tartar sauce.

Now let’s talk about those Cheddar Bay biscuits!! They are unlimited while you eat so don’t be too shy to ask for a refill on that delicious basket. I surely wasn’t! Those warm, cheesy, soft, crispy edges are sure to send you straight into ecstasy. They were finger lickin good!!!

I opted for no desert today because … well, I was simply stuffed to the gills. Lol! I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The worst Dining Experience ever!!! The restaurant temp was extremely cold... Service was poor ...Food was horrible , tepid and poor quality...The Mariner's Boil was SUB PAR and served at tepid temp along with the extremely oily shrimp scampi...Biscuits were raw in the middle and the waitress delivered our order and didn't return till the bill was printed...Never asked if we needed anything more to drink during our visit, water nor a iced tea refill...Quite unbelievable since there were only a few occupied tables in the establishment...We were overcharged for the Lunch Scampi order and when requested to speak to the Lunch Manager she came over to us in an arrogant fury and refused to adjust the bill saying "THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE PAYING" and I was " GASLIGHTING HER!"... and She threatened to call the police and have us removed ...over a $3.49 upcharge that was never expressed to us by the waitress...We then reported this by phone later that evening to another mgr. requesting to have the GM return the call...to no avail the Lunch mgr lied to the GM aquising me of servers cursing and refusing to pay the entire bill... Completely false just to cover her back and totally unacceptable behavior towards a paying customer and especially ruining my Birthday Celebration...Needless to say this unacceptably rude Lunch mgr got away with her unacceptable behavior by lying and convincing others to lie for her to save her job!!! NO SATISFACTION from GM Brian Duffy for our mistreatment due to lies by the Lunch mgr ... Never the less there are other Red Lobster locations on the Island ...I suggest you DON'T BY ANY MEANS dine at the Ronkonkoma location at any cost!!! What an experience over a $3.49 mishap!!! Not what is presented on TV Commercials !!! REALLY!!! You really know how to treat your customers...WAY TO GO GM Brian Duffy & Ronkonkoma...

I want to start off by saying this place has a special place in my heart...my family sweet 16 dinner was here, we came here with my grandparents when they were alive, so my heart has fond memories at this restaurant.

5 of us met up last Sunday for my father's birthday dinner. Our server Nicholas came right over to introduce himself and bring us some biscuits. He had such a fantastic sense or humor and had us all laughing the whole time. He answered our questions, the food came out hot and accurate, and tasted amazing. He even came over with a dessert for my father for his birthday and made it a point to make him feel special at his dinner and since he was turning 65 the next day, that was really important to me and meant the world to us. The food was great but Nicholas made sure we had an experience we won't forget. When we went outside to say goodbye, my father said next time he comes back he's going to ask for Nicholas because it was such a great dinner. I don't live in Suffolk anymore and I'm tempted to take the drive just to have another night like that. I've told a bunch of my friends to head over and enjoy themselves because this went beyond any expectations I went in with.
