Savarona's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

WARNING !!! I've enjoyed Savarona's for almost 2 decades. They have good food and the workers are wonderful. However I won't go there anymore. Finished! I went there Sunday to pick up dinner and was shocked to find no employees wearing masks as they prepared, cooked, packaged or delivered my meal. With so many good Pizza places and Italian restaurants in Shirley I see no reason to risk my life to give them my business. Almost 200,000 Americans are currently dead from the virus. Over 6,000,000 have been infected. Long Island has more cases than any other area of NY. How can any business actively and voluntarily threaten the lives of their patrons? P.S. Its been a while since I been here. For starters I walk in and go to the counter and met with a blank stare. No effort put into asking if they can help me. I ordered a regular and specialty slice.. came to 13 dollars and change. More than other places I been.. I understand the economy isn't doing well but we are all hurting.. So I ended up dealing with it and when I got my slices, they had barely any sauce and the crust was thin and floppy. Yeah, I sucked it up and ate it, I was hungry. They now use slice for delivery. Which is fine I have used slice before but I always knew I was using them and it was my choice to use them . I was not informed that there would be a 6 dollar deliever fee . If they would have told me I would have walked the 300 feet to pick it up . We have used this pizza parlor for 20 years it is a shame they don't have better customer service. Not only that but bill came to 37 dollars add5 dollar tip . When going over my statement ,I was charged 54 dollar then was charged another 5 dollars. Will never go there again.and will tell everyone...
