I was in this store on Friday 09/30/2022 between 2:30PM-3:30PM to purchase a battery. When I entered the store, I said good morning to the cashier/employee (an African American Lady. PS: before you think anything, I am BLACK, and that is probably the reason I veered toward her) on the 1st counter on the right. Not only she did not acknowledge me when I came in, but ignored me and greetings twice. When I said hello looking at her, she RUDELY replied quote" I HEARD YOU, CAN'T YOU SEE I AM TALKING TO MY MANGER" and quote. I was speechless.... my reaction was wow. I looked at the manager, he said NOTHING, I asked him can you get someone else to help me??? Another Employee named LISA, observed the seen from fare and probably saw that i was about to get upset, she came from her station, nicely stepped in , diffused the situation and said sir how can help you? I told her what was the problem, she offered to test the battery-the alternator and told me the battery was good and suggested I see a Mecanic. LISA was very helpful, but I am sad to say that I will not e going back nor recommending that store to anyone. Read moreAutozone is very over priced. I bought a 5 quart jug of oil and the next day I found the same brand at Walmart for half the price. Not on sale! I was shocked! This location often has empty shelves and little staff. Last visit, I spent twenty minutes returning and purchasing because the clerk was new and not trained well if at all. Only one person in the store that could authorize the return and since he was busy helping most of all the other customers, he was streched thin. I have to replace the same radiator twice because they are made defective. The one that is in my car now is leaking! It is not an easy job to remove and replace in spite of the lifetime warranty. Rewards points are great if you can ever get them. The "Rewards card" policy is spend twenty dollars and get a point. After you get 5 points, you get twenty dollars in store credit. Then I find out buying fluids does not count! I have had to call a service center to get other missing points on non fluid purchases and told that they would apply them to my account but never showed up. Read moreContext ,I just got my second car ever ...I thought the employees would know about cars ,they couldn't answer basic questions, like about oil for my car,and if it wasn't for a customer stepping in ,I would of blown my engine, then i asked about a car cover ,I was told to read the box ,and you can't read the box because the writing is blured with bad ink ,so impossible to read ,so I waited another 30 minutes to ask for help again now I'm their foe an hour just to be told idk ,so I put cover back and got on line again because only 1 register is open so 30 minutes or so later I was up but only if I was paying to leave ,so I was their for at least an hour or so ,the customer that originally helped me waited for me to give me some basic info that the employees could not provide, so I will not be returning to auto zone ....tip,if u run a business, make sure you hire people who know the...
