As I write this review, my distinguished meal of approximately one Chicken Club Wrap followed by a side of one small order of Curly Fries sits with high regards in my thoughts as one of the greatest fast food meals of all time. Do not let the term “fast food” trick your subconscious brain into allowing yourself to pass up a meal at Arby's #8460. Despite the fact that Arby's could be synonymous other household names such as Wendy's, and dare I say, McDonalds (I wouldn't be caught dead inside one of these knowing other such places of refreshment exist in the local Camillus area) I will inform you below of how Arby's was able to place itself above all other competitors in the greater Central New York region.
My five star visit began as most others do, through the heavy metal doors that keep this great establishment separated from the rest of the world. Those doors were the difference between the great service experienced at this Arby's and the unfortunate fact that Wendy’s somehow thinks they're better. Once through the set of double doors and around the interior glass wall that still separated me from the true experience that is Arby's, I was able to truly take in what this modern marvel of twenty first century fast food had to offer. The friendly inviting LED lights shone down from the raised ceiling as if God himself had finally found a fast food eatery worthy of his status. The tile surfaces of the store were immaculate as if those were the dinner plates themselves. The beige colored floor presented itself in a polished shine comparable to the mansions of Hollywood millionaires. The staff were also something out of a Hollywood movie, never before had I been greeted by more smiling faces and welcoming gestures than that night at Arby's. My cashier presented himself in only the most professional manner that struck me as only describable as awe-inspiring. As he entered my combination of culinary excellence into the machine, I began to hear the chefs in the back of the kitchen toiling away at my order. As I turned and scanned the open area that lie beyond the main entrance, my eyes landed on a customer who seemed not as enthused as I with the service and façade of the store, I contemplated asking why he had not the same level of enthusiasm as I did upon entering the store but later decided against it. After further investigation of the amenities that this location offered, I came to realize that this restaurant resembled more that of a hotel. As I opened the solid wooden door to the bathrooms I was met with a level of cleanliness seen only on television shows. The mirrors were spotless and the sinks were freshly cleaned, each urinal was accompanied with a new urinal cake that gave the lavish room a sterile smell of neutralized chlorine. The dining room and its low hung light fixtures were also spotless, I had only a few moments to look the surrounding area over before being informed in a polite tone that my order was ready. I can attest to the fact that the tables were freshly cleaned and wiped recently. As I received my order of nourishment, I was thanked for choosing Arby's and began making my way towards the exit door. Just before arriving there I ensured the staff of this Arby's knew their excellence by ringing their bell 3 times and waving to the staff before finally closing the door and sealing the great service that was this night.
Once I arrived home I was met with the strong smell of grilled chicken and fresh lettuce. Upon removing the contents of the bag and placing them on my Stickley & Co. Birch wood table, I looked upon my meal with great excitement and was not disappointed. The wrap itself was perfectly cooked and the cheese tied the whole wrap together. The fries were the perfect ending to a perfect meal and I couldn't have asked for a better pairing combination on a late summer night. Overall, my Arby's experience was second to none and I hope that all others customers experience what I was...
Read moreI called and asked if they were still offering the 5 for $10 roast beef sandwiches. I was told no by the GM Tosh, she then asked me why I asked and I told her I had gotten them for my diabled sister when they were on special. Tosh told me she would honor that offer for my sister. She asked when we would be there. I told her the following Saturday. She told me to tell the staff member that I had talked to her and she would put a note in the office. When my sister and I arrived Saturday morning, I pulled up to the drive-in and started to mention my conversation with Tosh and she said is this Dan. I was so surprised that she remembered. Tosh told me to pull up to the window and I asked if my sister could order an order of curly fries. Tosh said sure pull up to the window. When we pulled up to the window I stated how pleased my sister and I were for her bending over backwards for people she had never even met before, when she handed me the bag and said we were all set. She gave us the entire order at no charge. It almost brought me to tears. It is uplifting to come across someone so kind and generous in these times. Tosh is...
Read moreThe food is always good at Arby's, so that wasn't the problem. It was the service. I went through the drive through to order my food. After ordering and paying for my food, I was instructed to pull around to another location to wait for my food. No other vehicle was in line so I inquired why I needed to move? I was told I had to move because it would show that I was still at the window waiting for my food and effect there "time of service" numbers. So, in order to show that they were serbing me faster than they actually are, they asked me to move so the timer would stop. I didn't want to decline moving in fear of my food being tampered with. Not sure if I will ever return to this restaurant even though I live 2 minutes away and...
