Beer World — Restaurant in Town of Catskill

Usually the store is pretty good, but lately seems like things are going downhill. They seem to always be out of brands they always carried in abundance, and not just due to the holiday weekend. This has been going on for weeks. The guy who cashes out the returnables likes to argue. Not a nice guy. Prices are fair but not excessively great. Wide variety. I'm a regular here, but getting increasingly annoyed with out of stock items and the guy at the returnables not to mention he doesn't practice...

Had a visit there yesterday and as a Belgian spending a vacation in this area I was pleased to see a bunch of Belgian beers, but.......a lot of that beers are EXPIRED ! I saw a magnum bottle of Duvel expired for over 6 years but still priced $56 ! I told the manager , asked for a price adjustment but he was only willing to give 5% in the beginning and at the end 10% what s way to low for expired beer and even illegal by law to sell at full price....

Beware, they don’t follow redemption laws or good business practice. Redeemed a 1/6 keg I bought from them 6 months earlier prior to COVID. They charged me a $5 late fee for me returning it so long after I bought it. This is the 2nd time they’ve done something like this. Not going back there again. They’re sneaky about things if you aren’t paying attention. There’s 2 other good Bev warehouses right down the road in Coxsackie, going there...
