BurgerFi — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

This place was TERRIBLE. I went at a busy time of the day but it was mostly elderly women, as they were together for a church group trip. Before my experience even kicked off, the sweet elderly woman in front of me couldn’t figure out how to order. She politely asked the employees to assist her, and they proceeded to glance at her and go back to what they were doing - blatantly ignoring her! Luckily I was able to help her. I waited 30 minutes for my plain cheeseburger and fries. My order came out wrong, so I requested that they fix it. The worker responded, “You can’t just eat it anyways?” No sir, that is not what I paid for. I then proceeded to wait an additional 20 minutes for them to remake my order. After this VERY long process, the food was awful. No flavor to the burger, definitely frozen. The french fries were not salted. I also asked for dipping sauce, in which I did not receive. 0/10 experience. I probably will never fly through the Buffalo airport again because...

I generally have low expectations for any quick service restaurant at an airport. They never seem to hit the spot, but burgerfi went to an all time low. Despite having 5 employees in the kitchen the service was so slow. And by service I mean preparing food, because your only option is to order from a kiosk. After waiting for 20 minutes for chicken fingers and fries I was hopeful I was getting my food. But somehow they managed to make everyone who ordered before and after me and skipped mine. When questioned the guy said, I just got back from break, I don’t know. Meanwhile he was in the kitchen the entire time. No acknowledgment of the mistake and no apology. Just attitude. I had to fight with the manager to get a refund - she said we are making it now it will be 10 minutes. Yeah my flight was boarding in 15 minutes. No thanks....

Well packaged bad food! Careless servers! Atmosphere around is great but BurgerFi does not have anything to do with it because it is food court’s atmosphere. Not BurgerFi’s atmosphere. Travelers, mostly come here first time, see this atmosphere and buy food with high expectations. Unfortunately the food quality is not so good. More importantly, I had a feeling that they don’t care. Here is my proof: My burger had 2 patties. One of them was burned like coal all over the circle. About 1/5 inch thick coal! The other patty was cooked rare-medium! I showed it to the guy who handed me the food. He said ‘it is normal’! Things happen! Person makes...
