New to the area, trying different spots around town. Nick's wasn't opened yet so hit up Google and this place was so close I could almost throw a rock and hit it and figured it was worth a try. Walked in and was feeling the place out and shooting the breeze with the guy behind the counter and was a good dude and had answers to all my questions about the food and such. Ordered my son a pepperoni pizza and he told me their in house made bread was really good and they were known for their steak subs and chicken finger subs with their own special buffalo sauce and gave me a sample and decided to pull the trigger on that. Looked around at all the Bills memorabilia and chatted some more while we waited for our food. Everything was hot and fresh and we decided to throw on a brownie that we couldn't help but notice was a huge thick slab of chocolaty goodness and threw that on for dessert. My son absolutely loved the pizza. The dough was delicious and the sauce was well balanced and a healthy amount of mozzarella with a slight crisp to the pepperoni was now become my son's favorite pizza. The Buffalo chicken sub which I had toasted on the home made bread didn't disappoint. The breat was tasty I got the sesame seeded bread and the tenders in their signature sause was very good with the provolone I paired with it hit the spot with red onion, hot peppers, black olives, tomato and lettuce. Will be going back for the steak sub and the next time my pizzaholic son wants pizza it's going to be from here. Very happy with our...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am not one to write reviews because its normally not worth the time. However, this is my last straw with this once great pizzeria. Over the past year I have had terrible experiences one after another. First, almost everyone I have interacted with , either on the phone or in the place , have always been rude and miserable. If you have people dreading to call in with knowing you're going to get someone who can't say thank you, you're welcome or making them feel that you are inconveniencing them for calling during the last hour of the night, maybe you need a new job. Second, when you advertise a chicken finger sub that is toasted and comes with either ranch or blue cheese, it shouldn't be soggy and you charging the customer extra for asking for the ranch or blue cheese on the side because they don't want it to make the roll soggy. Lastly, the one that topped it off for me, was just now when I was overcharged by $1.62, don't make me feel like I was wrong then the guy who runs the kitchen decides to refund for $1.50 because hey it's only a $1.50 error in his eyes. If I was short that much I highly doubt that you were going to tell me, hey no big deal! Last time I ever come back their personally and I hope that the folks of Chili can agree.
P.S. why don't you invest in a proper ventilation hood so people don't feel like they are actually in the back making the food when they walk...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFriendly staff and customers gave a beautiful space an even nicer vibe. I only rated the atmosphere a 4 because I know it would be even better if there was a picture of Josh Allen biting into a Colombini's turkey sub framed next to his signed jersey which is proudly displayed behind the counter.
Any Buffalo fans looking for good fingers, subs, pastries, appetizers and more for their game day parties/tailgates need look no further. Special mention for their delicious take on their Buffalo sauce - it's really flavorful, slightly sweeter and worth a shot even for the Buffalo purists. If it's not to your liking, they offer a traditional version as well.
Go Bills!! and go to Colombini's for amazing food and a great overall experience; they really might have the best chicken finger subs in town, but also offer so much more.
I should also mention that this was my first visit and I called in to ask questions as opposed to looking up the menu; the person who helped me was very patient and helpful to me which is what got me to order in the...
