Iāve been going to Davidās Bagel for years, both when they expanded and more recently. The size of the business has never affected the quality, and I remember that even during their expansion, the seating area wasnāt often used, but that didnāt matter to me.
As someone whoās particular about their bagelsāslightly toasted with plenty of optionsāIāve always been completely satisfied with my orders. Iāve also tried other sandwiches on their menu and have been equally happy with the quality and freshness. Recently, I was pleasantly surprised by how aromatic and fresh their hazelnut coffee is, and Iāll definitely be reordering it soon. My kids love ordering breakfast from them too, always enjoying the soft, fresh bagels as a treat.
Iāve also stopped by with my best friend after some walks for a nice lunch, which has been a great experience.
The service is consistently friendly and efficient. Iām in and out quickly, and phone orders are just as fast and reliable. I also appreciate the attention to hygiene, with everyone wearing gloves while prepping food. The store is always clean and nicely organized.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually go here for bagels, today decided to get 2 sandwiches and 2 hash browns, I was greeted by a young girl employee, placed my 1st sandwich order and she started to walk away, told her that I have another order, placed that order and she started walking away, had to yell my hash browns order. Got to the cash register and I ordered a cup of coffee, she told me that it was $24.00, after I paid I asked her if my order had the hash browns, apparently it was not, she went back to the kitchen to get it. While she went back, I asked another employee ( older man) to double check my bill. I was overcharged by $4.00. When my server came back, she tallied again my bill and I was overcharged. The other male employee asked her to refund my change and she could not do the math. I walked out without my refund very upset with the whole ordeal. When I got home the hash browns were wrapped in a foil together, not fried, looks like just microwaved to save time because she forgot to place the order initially. Unacceptable behavior, service and quality of food. Did not expect this from a reputable store. Will never go back here...

The failure is not with the ordering system, itās not managed effectively resulting in poor customer service. The location of the ordering system is tucked away in a corner of the store, furthest away from the grill. Locate it where workers are actually seeing it. When you stand on the line dedicated for online orders, the employees donāt see you standing there because you are blocked by a rack. Therefore you donāt get help resulting in poor customer service (again). The lack of organization of the employees also adds to the dysfunction. The business really needs to have a person overseeing the entire operation to improve the customer experience, that includes reading reviews and responding to the online reviews. Dedicate staff to three areas, 2 + people to take orders. 2 + people working the grill, 2+ cashiers. 1 store manager managing the staff, monitoring online orders and social media.
