Bayberry Seafood — Restaurant in Town of Clay

This is a takeout seafood establishment, this was my first time ordering. It was a bit of the Soup Nazi situation from Seinfeld happening. The woman orchestrating the line flow and orders coming in and out uses the same demeanor with a lot of shouting. I personally found it somewhat amusing but it was definitely intimidating some of the customers. Granted it was a late Friday afternoon and almost lent, steady stream of orders coming and going. The flow did move well I don’t think I waited much longer than ten minutes, in and out with order pretty quickly! I ordered two fish sandwiches with tartar sauce, Mac and cheese, I picked up a large Cole slaw from fridge, and an extra tartar sauce. The total came to thirty dollars and change, I thought prices were reasonable for the amount of food and cooked fresh to order. Everything was hot and delicious, Mac and cheese did taste identical to Stouffer’s though not sure that was homemade. Or just a very close replica. Great spot for fish sandwiches and filets! This was my go-to spot, until I got treated like a piece of trash today. Girl at the counter couldn't lift her head away from her phone to acknowledge my presence. This should have been an easy to resolve situation. I ordered 2 regular sandwiches, I asked why the total was so high, she said you had 2 large sandwiches. Simple misunderstanding, I said no I actually ordered 2 regular sandwiches.(I know this bc it's what I order everytime I come) She then told me that she was the one who took my order and that I said large......ok fine whatever, if I am getting large sandwiches I will just pay for large sandwiches and be in my way. However, when I got home they were in fact regular size sandwiches. I called back to ask if my charge could be adjusted so that I pay for what I received, but what I got was more rude attitude. She said she would get her manager, but at this point I'll just hung up and decided not to go back. It's a shame bc the food is very good, but no one should be...

Today I came here for lunch and let me tell you. The place was absolutely clean, all tables were shining. The haddock sandwich I ordered, was very neat and made according to order. Customer service was great and friendly. They provided me with extra sauce at no charge, and I like my food SAUCEY. Hmm what else, oh yeah you need to try their friend zucchinis, perfection in a paper rectangle. I would deffdefini come back here for lunch any time I do a roof in Bayberry area. One more thing, after working very hard from 6:30 until 11:30 my muscle we're starting to lock up. After eating their haddock sandwich I felt replenished and my muscles rejuvenated at work after and felt great in my stomach so that's high quality fish right there.
