Went to Ocean Sushi to pick up dinner. Ordered 3 rolls and have never been more disappointed. I've eaten here multiple times both dine in and take out without issue. Today was a different story, got home and my girlfriend and I tried one piece of each and noticed something was off. Each one was extremely "fishy" and not in a good way like it had been sitting around too long. I called the restaurant and spoke to the woman who cashed us out and explained the situation. She says "There's nothing I can do, nobody else has complained". I then drove back to the restaurant to have the conversation in person where she again says nobody has complained so she can't do anything and that the fish we got was the same we were serving in the dining room (oh really, good to know you don't have special takeout fish not that it was even in question). She says she will call her manager because she doesn't know what to do. She comes back and says "my manager will only let me give you half your money back because nobody else has complained" so if you're the second to complain I'm sure you'll get at least 75-100% back.

I am updating my review based on customer service. This has been my favorite sushi place for years. They recognize me when I go in, the food is usually great. But i'm pretty upset about their stance on customer service.

I called in an order for a Super Crunch - I usually so 'No Avocado' when I order, due to an allergy, but I don't order rolls that list avodcado as an ingredient anyway out of an abundance of caution. I usually do the playboy, or the super crunch pictured in the image. The Super crunch does not list avocado as an ingredient, while other rolls do. Today when I ordered, I forgot to say 'No Avocado', but I wasn't worried since its not a listed ingredient. It should not have avo on it. When I picked up my roll and got home, it had avocado.

I called them to let them know, and was told that it comes with Avocado. When I insisted that it isn't listed, they said I was thinking of the playboy roll. If I wanted a new one, i'd have to pay. Thats what I did - I ordered and paid for a new one.

However, this will be the last time I ever eat here. Their menu, online, shows no avocado for this roll. The customer service was just not there, and after being such a loyal customer, i'm utterly disgusted that they just couldn't do the...
