The lady at the cash register could use some training in treating customers with kindness and respect. We were told that we’d have to pay for 2 kids meals even though we got 2 kids quesadillas without sides. Fine, we get it, not all chipotles work the same (though most don’t charge the same price). However, she acted like I was inconveniencing her when I said we didn’t need the extra drink. She said well he didn’t tell me what he wanted so I just picked something… like she couldn’t ask me. I repeated we didn’t need the extra drink. I scanned my rewards on my phone after she huffed at me while she was putting the drink back before she finished scanning the items. Then when she finished I scanned it one more time before I paid because I wasn’t sure that it actually counted the rewards since she hadn’t finished ringing up the items. She (in a not nice tone) said “you already scanned it” and I explained that I wasn’t sure it went through because she hadn’t finished ringing it up… she responded again not nicely “I did and you can hear when you scan it!!” Maybe she was just having a bad day, if so I hope her day gets better. If not, I advise management to give her some training in treating customers kindly instead of like we are inconveniencing her when it’s literally her job to serve...
Read moreI placed an order from this location on Grubhub today. My driver was great.
However, Chipotle puts an EMPTY cup inside of a sealed bag when customers order a drink. I called the restaurant and after messing around with the automated system for several minutes trying to speak with a human, I was finally connected with someone.
The person that I spoke with was polite but did not apologize for the empty cup that was placed in my sealed bag, which was supposed to be a watermelon limeade. He explained to me that the expectation is that the delivery driver is supposed to read what the order is, OPEN the sealed bag, take the cup out, and fill up the drink cup.
This is unrealistic, unsanitary, and lazy. Drivers should not be responsible for adding items to a sealed order. I would assume that the purpose of the seal is for sanitary reasons, to ensure that hands are not being dipped into the bag.
Also, the receipt that Chipotle puts on the orders does not even have a note that says this, or telling the driver what the beverage is. There is no way for drivers to even know that there is an empty cup in the bag instead of the actual beverage.
A quick Reddit search will show you that this is a very common issue, Chipotle...
