Night manager needs to be fired. Even in fast food restaurants never in my life have I experienced such blatantly RUDE and dismissive behavior. My friend placed a mobile pickup order for us just before 10 pm last night, and they were supposed to be open until 11. When we get there, an employee ends up informing us that they closed the store early due to running out of food, and said he would have the manager come speak with us about how to solve the issue since we had already paid. 25 MINUTES later, a woman walks past the open doorway to the kitchen and sees us waiting outside. Instead of coming out to greet us and asking how she can help, she looks at one of her employees inside and says LOUD & clear, “I’m going to close the door so they can’t stare at us”. From the doorway without even saying anything else she then yells at us “we don’t have any more food!” My friend calmly explained how we weren’t looking for food at this point but simply our money back. She continues to cut my friend off as she’s speaking and says there’s nothing she can do about it, her systems are shut off already, etc etc… She also gave no alternative solutions; my friend asked her what she should do since she’s supposedly not able to process the refund and she had absolutely no answer. My friend asks if she should just call customer service since the app wasn’t working either and she goes “yeah I guess try that”. How are you the manager and don’t know how to MANAGE these situations? Insane. Literally have never witnessed someone be so disrespectful towards someone else while being absolutely unprovoked. Again; we were calm, spoke to her with decorum and patience, and simply questioned what our next steps would be. We came out with no resolution after wasting almost 30 minutes just sitting there waiting and were met with a nasty...
Read moreI had the absolute worst experience at KFC today. From start to finish, the service was a complete disaster. I waited 20 minutes in the drive-thru line, only to be told to park and wait even longer after placing my order. I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes in my car without any updates. Frustrated, I decided to go inside to see what was going on, only to wait another 10 minutes in the lobby.
What made matters worse was that the lobby was full of other angry customers who were all dealing with the same issue—waiting anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour for their orders. No staff member bothered to address anyone in the lobby or offer any kind of explanation or apology. It was clear they were overwhelmed, but the lack of communication and respect for customers' time was unacceptable.
Eventually, everyone started demanding refunds because the wait was getting ridiculous. Only then did the staff seem to care, and instead of resolving the situation properly, they rushed to hand out orders. There was no apology or acknowledgment of how poorly the situation was handled.
This is, without a doubt, the worst fast-food experience I’ve ever had. Waiting nearly an hour for a simple order is completely unacceptable, and the lack of professionalism and customer service made it even worse. KFC needs to take a serious look at their staffing and management because this is not how customers should be treated. I’ll think twice before returning to this location, if ever.
P.s: the food was cold, the drink was wrong, and when I asked for mashed potatoes they didn't even...
Read moreGoing to this KFC is a process. It's not possible to go here get your food and leave. If you're ordering for a family you will wait for the chicken to be finished cooking or you will have to decide to get a substitute for what you actually wanted.. They will ask you to wait in the parking lot for your order when using the drive-thru. Strong chance they will forget about you and you will have to go inside from your car to remind them you exist. They will treat you like your bothering their relaxing time and you will be mad when you get home and realize you didn't get everything you asked for.
As long as you realize that this is the process you have to follow. You are guaranteed to be disappointed. I've lived in Colonie for 24 years, this process has not failed me once..
Update: 3 years after leaving this review. The process has changed a little but only for smaller orders. 4 orders in a row. I ordered the exact same thing. Famous bowl, spicy with no corn. All 4 times it was something a little different but none of them were correct. This time I was charged for a meal (more money) and there was still corn. I couldn't tell you if the lady who severed me was nice or not because she not once spoke or waited for me to finish my sentence before she walked away. It was interesting to...
