Worst experience. Looks like they can’t even provide lids to the sundae bowls. I took my son to this place for the first time. He was very excited to try the ice cream in a new place. But he was very disappointed looking at the way the woman (maybe owner or the supervisor) spoke to me. Even though there was a junior sundae bowl, then still made me purchase the whole bowl which is 8$ worth. I was able to eat only half of it and requested to provide a lid for the bowl to take the rest of it home. Initially, the person working there provided me a large one and then supervisor provide a smaller one which doesn’t even fit the bowl. I requested for a different size, but she blatantly lied to my face that it was factory provided. Which factory will provide a small sized lid to a large bowl. The worker tried to give me another one which might be a good fit. The supervisor restricted that. I have been to many ice cream shops, the staff and the managers were very helpful. The supervisor at this place, is very unfriendly and rude. I recommend people to go to different locations (especially if you have kids). Because they don’t want to see someone disrespecting...
Read moreKurver Kreme is one of those rare spots that instantly transports you back in time. From the moment you walk up to the stand, there's a wave of old-school charm and small-town nostalgia that’s hard to find these days. As someone who’s been in the ice cream business for years, I can confidently say this place is the real deal.
I had the Heath Bar and caramel sundae, and it was absolutely out of this world. The custard was rich, creamy, and perfectly smooth—exactly how it should be. We also tried the classic brownie sundae, which was massive and just as delicious. If you love creamy custard, this place will not disappoint.
There’s plenty of outdoor seating, with picnic tables and benches scattered around the building, giving it a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. They also serve food, though we didn’t try it this time—but judging by everything, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just as good.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Kurver Kreme is 100% worth the stop. A timeless ice cream stand that nails the classics and keeps you...
Read moreTHANK YOU TO WHO EVER GAVE THE HEART REACTION. I HAVE NOT BEEN GETTING CREDIT FOR THEM. I AM NOT SURE ABOUT WRITING ANY MORE REVIEWS. I have been going to kurver Kreme probably since it's beginning in 1952. I was a young child. Also went to Platt's dairy on wolf rd . Very early in my life also. I was at kurver Kreme today. I now get a kiddie cone. How life runs complete circle . I remember the Menekin family well. What is so great about the place to me is they have a no sugar, fat free soft vanilla soft and usually another flavor with it. It is super. Just as good as the regular . Kurver Kreme is an icon of the area. Today I visited Kurver Kreme again for my usual sugar and fat free kiddie cone. Allie waited on me. She was very cordial and helpful. I shall return soon....
