Horrible drive thru experience I went here last night to get some "fast" food for my 12 yr old son and his friend. We arrived @ 10:45pm, a good 15 minutes before they close and ordered a couple of burgers /fries and Chicken nuggets with an unsweetened ice tea. I was abruptly informed that the they had stopped making fries and they would have to be cooked and we would have to wait. I was also told that they didn't have any nuggets available. When we got to the payment window, I started to voice my dissatisfaction with the selection and service when I saw the manager walk up. I was relieved to see him, as I figured he could help overcome the issues I was convinced were due to the younger employees looking to leave early on a Saturday night. Instead, he proceeds to inform me that the employees were actually following his instructions to close down operations early under the excuse of avoiding waste from unused nuggets! AFTER I paid for the food they were willing to serve us, I was informed that they didn't have any tea either. The tea was for a diabetic who can't simply choose something else from the menu to drink, so we were going to try and get a refund from the crew with one foot out the door. The boys were hungry, crabby and they couldn't get what they were hoping for, so I asked the manager if he would be willing to give the boys a couple of the happy meal prizes due to the troubles. He couldn't even be bothered to turn around from counting the cash from the register to tell me no to my face. Evidently, I am not getting my refund either. After some further words with the drive thru attendant, my plan to share my experience must have made it to him, as now miraculously he was willing to cook 10 nuggets. What a concept for an open, staffed restaurant that had the ingredients! Unfortunately, we were going to have to wait again because he didn't start cooking them when I actually ordered them the first time. I had had enough and didn't feel like waiting any longer, so I politely declined. At this point we are given our bag of food. Both fries we ordered were at best half full. We had to honk the horn several times to get her to open the window she had immediately closed, barred and locked despite the fact that I was in the middle of asking the her about the fries all the while staring directly at me! I would like to point out now that it still isn't 11pm yet. When they did open the window, they informed me that they went ahead with the order of nuggets despite having said we didn't want them any longer AND they weren't finished, actually needing twice the amount of time they said we would have to wait originally. Our hamburger meals was ordered w/ NO onions or pickles. Upon inspection, you guessed it, 4 pickles and what had to be 2 full onions worth of diced onions per burger. They were thoughtful enough to add a couple of small curly black hairs under the bun on one of the burgers. I am astonished, not in a hundred years would I have come up with a story to rival the experience I actually had last night. We probably would have gotten the curly hair treatment to both of the burgers, but they probably ran out of them too. DISGUSTING Surprisingly the nuggets did eventually come, but they refused to fill the fries because now, as they were now "OUT" of these too. Seriously, a fully staffed McDonald's with no other customers and 15 minutes until they close and they just DIDNT FEEL like making our nuggets or fries? They didn't refund the money for the fries or the tea and our food was spitefully covered in topings we had asked them to hold, all done with not only the managers knowledge but his direction as well! DO NOT EAT HERE, THEY ARE LAZY, RIP YOU OFF and clearly do DISGUSTING THINGS TO THE FOOD!!! I took PHOTOS &...
Read moreLong story short; my experience was terrible. WORST McDonalds Iâve ever been.
As I pulled into the parking lot I noticed the drive thru was full, a huge line that wrapped around the parking lot. -but it didnât take long for it to thin out as cars were pulling away and leaving. As I inched closer to the menu, I noticed that cars were not getting served. They were leaving without being helped. I eventually got the chance to listen to the music through the speaker playing at the drive thru. I followed everyone else out and noticed that their wasnât anyone working the drive thru. With complete shock, and not being from this area, I had to go inside to find out what was going on.
I walked in(barely) and was stopped at the door waiting in line. As I peaked in, looking over the counter I noticed that their was only two employees working. One was taking an order, the other was moping the floor. I was so frustrated(as everyone else in line). The cashier was more focused on me and other customers bashing this location than taking other peoples orders. She misunderstood many meals and did not care how long everyone waited.
Eventually an employee came from the back but he wasnât much better. He was very polite but wasnât speeding up the pace. The lady in front of me complained that her order was incorrect but the employees didnât seem to fix the order in a reasonable time so she told them to forget it. I ordered a happy meal for my daughter, they got that wrong, and forgot my meal entirely.
I was probably in this restaurant for about 45 minutes. It took them 45 MINUTES for a happy mealđĄ WHICH THEY GOT WRONG!

Read moreThis location is freaking great. I'm not good with using the kiosk and most of the other locations have a sink or swim policy where i force someone under 20 to place my order on the but screen for me....but the minute I walked in the door an employee immediately made eye contact with me and took my order without acting like end times were near and his day was ruined. No fistfights like at the Lower Central Ave location. No bums outside trying to get my change or spare body parts I might want to be liberated of. I didn't stick to the floor at the drink station or have to wait for a lid that fit my cup. I also didn't need a 6 digit code,a key on a deflated tire or a Girl Scout badge of Honor as promise i wouldn't overdose in the bathroom. Seats and tables weren't covered in syrup or suspicious looking funk. The best was when my food was ready it was placed on the counter. Placed. Gently. Other locations seem to be so bothered they dramatically drop-scoot your $8 sandwiches and run..forget about asking for any sauces-your order is complete. I also didn't hear any drama from the back of house. No one screaming or complaining or shenanigans-it was like my order mattered. My order wasn't taken with attitude, I wasn't rushed and I didn't feel labeled for having to use the bathroom. I will return to Wolf Road before I go to any other location-even if it is outta my way a bit. Nicely done crew-you should be proud for keeping a high standard and a positive experience even during busy breakfast hours on the weekend. If only other locations paid attention to individual customer needs and left personal...
