Danny's Table — Restaurant in Town of Fishkill

This was my first visit -- and I will certainly return! My daughter and I often have lunch together just for fun, and we've tried an assortment of restaurants in the Hudson Valley. This one is new in summer of 2025 and has moved instantly to the top three that we love. It's nestled among the many restaurants on Main Street in Fishkill, and there is both street parking and a parking lot in the back. The restaurant is spacious with a large bar and plenty of tables. We were greeted instantly and seated near a window. Our server was very pleasant and helpful -- she knew the dishes well and could explain ingredients and preparation. She was attentive but not intrusive. Although we both chose salads, these were unlike any ordinary salads. My daughter chose the Cobb and I had the Nicoise. The dressings for both were outstanding and house made. The presentation was beautiful. My tuna was seared perfectly. Every ingredient was fresh. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A New Local Gem You Have to Try! I've had my eye on this place for a while—and WOW, it did not disappoint! A true must-try in the area. My husband had a serious short rib craving and left beyond satisfied. The short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the creamy mashed potatoes they came with were absolute perfection.

Honestly, every single thing we ordered was a hit. Not one miss. The presentation was very nice. The ingredients all tasted super fresh. The menu is incredibly versatile, which makes it perfect for any group—there’s truly something for everyone.

I ordered the shrimp and crab linguini and it was chef’s kiss—rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. We started with the burrata toast, and finished with the Beggars Purse dessert. I’ve never had anything like it before—it’s a must if you go!

This the third time I’ve had food from Danny’s Table in Fishkill NY. And each time, I’m just as satisfied as the previous. 💯 percent recommend. The first time my husband ordered take out Fossil Farms organic chicken for me because I was just too tired to drive. I had the food the next day and it was simply outstanding. The second time, I ordered the same meal, and again 💯 The third time, it was soooo hot outside, and walking into Danny’s was like a refuge. Quiet, cool, comfortable, super clean and the watermelon gazpacho and House Cobb Salad were the perfect delicious nourishing light pairing for a hot day. If you are anywhere in Hudson Valley, or coming up from New York City or just driving by on 84, but especially if you’re in Fishkill, Beacon, Wappingers, Poughkeepsie, you should support this small business.
