Fishkill Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Fishkill

This place literally has some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s rich, creamy, and delicious. Campfire S’mores is my favorite. Fishkill Creamery holds a very special place in my heart. Before my dog Wick died from cancer, we would bring him here constantly for the “Wick Special” which was an extra small scoop of vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce (or peanut butter chips) and milk bones on top. The shop owner still has Wick’s photo up in the store and even though I don’t live in New York anymore, my family and I will always stop here during our travels to make sure we can have some ice cream in memory of my baby boy Wick. This is a great ice cream spot! They have local ice cream (Jane’s) with classic flavors and not too sweet - we tried the passion fruit ice cream which was light, tart and creamy - almost like a plain frozen yogurt. They also have some intense flavors like moose tracks and something with marshmallows in it. They have at least four different toppings and are super patient, helpful and friendly. They also serve espresso and churros for cold days. If they could add one thing it would be more sorbet flavors - the raspberry they had on offer...

Tried them recently because it's summer and they're the new ice cream parlor. With that said everything was amazing!!! I would give 5 stars but they seem to lack different sizes for their sundaes and shakes. Also they are a bit pricey compared to other places. So to them I would highly suggest adding different sizes to their sundaes and to come down on your prices a bit because the last time I paid that much for a shake was at the diner. Don't get me wrong it was amazing. The same with my wife's sundae, it was amazing but too pricey...
