I always enjoy the coffee, which I generally buy several days per week. For the reasons noted below, I am going less frequently and, instead, frequenting the wonderful coffee houses in town.
Service is VERY inconsistent. For example, I recently waited 15 minutes inside to order coffee ... as the drive through lane was backed up with at least 8 cars. All of those cars were waited on before anyone even acknowledged me at the counter even though they passed by several times. No apologies, such as sorry for the wait, etc. Other reviewers have made the same comments. Dunkin needs to do something different with the drive through as sometimes drivers will have huge orders and the car will sit there until the order is filled. This causes protracted wait time in the drive through. Those drivers should be asked to pull up to wait for their order, rather than unduly holding up the line.
As far as service is concerned, some of the employees are excellent, particularly Kim, Shauna, Michaela, Brian and Chris (who unfortunately no longer works there). The one employee who needs a major attitude adjustment is Daniel. He never smiles, doesn't say thank you, looks very sullen, and, overall, has a poor attitude. He looks like he hates working at Dunkin'. I went through the drive through yesterday and he handed me the coffees and never even looked at me or said anything. Unfortunately there was only one employee taking orders in the store at the counter and one employee making drinks. Meanwhile there were at least 3 employees taking care of the drive through orders. We waited approximately 5 or more to even place an order as no one was at the register. I might suggest that it be helpful for places like this that cater to the NEW coffee crowd that prefer special sugared up drinks that no longer even resemble coffee and the lazy crowd that prefer to wait in their cars in the drive through to have an option for those of us that just want a simple cup of plain old black coffee to have a line for just COFFEE and maybe a doughnut so we can get in and out and not inconvenience the others I...
Read moreI go to geneva location all the time and order ahead however today my child wanted to pick out a donut so we went inside. There was no one in there it was very quite. We stood at the counter for 10 mins. 3 employees saw us standing there and not a single one acknowledged us or even bother to attempt to see what we needed. If it wasn't for my son i would have walked right out. The manager just happened to walk out from the back and ask someone to help and the guy running drive thru come help me despite 3 employees standing in front of me literally ignoring us.
