Wendy's — Restaurant in Town of Geneva

I'm a previous restaurant owner so when I go out to eat, I have high expectations and especially if I go to a fast food place, which I rarely do, because I rather support the little guy or family own establishment. So, yesterday I had a craving for a fish sandwich. I had a very busy day planned and had many errands to run. I did a general Google search on fast food restaurants who have a good fish sandwich. Wendy's fish sandwich was rated near the top of the list. I went there before for a chicken sandwich and was very disappointed, the bun was flat and the chicken was cold and it seemed like it was sitting there for a while, it definitely didn't taste like it was freshly made! I wasn't very pleased and told myself, I probably wouldn't go there again. Well, I should have took my own advice! I haven't been back there for over a year and figured, hopefully their quality of food have improved and I was willing to give them a second chance! Big mistake! I ordered a fish sandwich combo meal and a small chocolate frosty for my wife, she wasn't hungry but likes their frostys. The bill came to a little over $14 dollars. I bring the food home and give my wife the frosty and by this time, I'm very hungry and looking forward to eating my fish sandwich! I open the bag, expecting to see a decent size wrapped fish sandwich and was caught off guard. It looked kind of small, did they make a mistake and give me a single burger combo? I opened the wrapper and it was a fish sandwich, the bun was flat, the fish was square and about a quarter inch flat, the cheese was hard and it looked like the sandwich was sitting there for hours! I was very hungry and decided to take a couple of bites. Honestly, I'm not one to complain but the only thing that tasted ok was the pickles! I couldn't eat the rest and was very disappointed 😞 the fries were ok but nothing to brag about. My wife ate her frosty and unfortunately, a half hour later, she had to make multiple trips to the bathroom! I gave them a second chance but will never go there again! If you are on the run and looking for a good fish sandwich, try Arby's! It's actually a real piece of fish, not square and very tasty! If you want to have a great fish sandwich, about 10 inches long and cheaper than Wendy's, go to Connie's Diner in Waterloo!! Pulled up to the drive through, there was a car in front of me. He gave up and pulled up to the second window. I pulled up to the order booth and waited a little. No response. I called hello a couple times (waited a couple minutes) and I see a lady get out of a car in the parking lot and go running inside. 15 seconds later she asked me how she can help. I give my order and as I’m pulling away I remark to my wife that the “idiots” were sitting in the car in the parking lot. She overheard what I said and went into full Karen mode. As I pull around to the window she is hanging out yelling “What did you say to me!?” Over and over. She finally takes the order from the guy who has been sitting at the window for several minutes now. Take about 5 minutes to get him his order. He pulls away and I pull up. She just leans on the window sill and just keeps asking me what I said and refuses to get me my order. After a half minute of her yelling she gets me my bag and gives it to me. I ask for the manager. Turns out she’s the one in charge. She refuses to give me my drink and keeps yelling at me to get out of her f’ing drive through. She actually goes outside into the drive through lane and is yelling at me to leave and never come back. I quietly ask the level headed guy inside to get me my drink. He asked what I need and by now she has ran back inside and he tells her to give me the drink. She forcefully hands me my drink and tells me never to come back. 🤷‍♂️ I’ll probably be back but I hope whoever her superiors are reads this. This was 11:15 PM but still no reason to have the entire crew sitting in their car in the parking lot. She actually turned the lights back on when she came back...

Yes I love Wendy's specially getting the number 6 value meal 4 me I love the spicy chicken sandwich they always do a fantastic job here wherever I'm at if it's in Geneva or aphids not in Geneva and I go elsewhere to another Wendy's they do a fantastic job and this particular Wendy's is very clean and very well managed in the most part they have a lot of new items and different kind of price ranges which is a nice add-on they also have a new soda pop machine which is very Nifty and their overall atmosphere inside of this place is kind of busy at sometimes but if you can get there on a not as busy time it's very nice and quiet and convenient they have a decent amount of seating in all that in fantastic light for everyone and they have a very nice staff when you go up to the counter and you and tell them what you want or ask them what is there if you can't see the menu which is very nice that that is a good sense of customer service in my mind now with the wait for the food I maybe waited about 3 minutes or so for my food but that means to me that I'm actually going to get quality food and in that they they have also no a men's bathroom and a woman's bathroom which they they do they do have they also have drive-thru service I think to mean drive-thru service is the most difficult part at this building I don't know if it's the microphone or if it's how you have to go through the service line it's just it's not the easiest and you probably wait almost you about 10 to 15 minutes maybe to get through but I'm the most part like I said fantastic place to go very friendly for kids do recommend to go there just hopefully you get there on a time that...
