Can not say anything good about this place. We went for lunch with 3 kids and 2 adults. Food was overpriced. Waiter did not speak English as a first language. They served a medium/medium raw burger to my 3 year old child. I also ordered a quesadilla and chicken on the side costs $2. The chicken was so dry, I could use it to start a fire. I asked for both the berger and chicken to be taken off the bill as neither were eaten.
After the owner found out, she comes over and direct quote says " so I hear you don't like our food." She said this very loudly and a few other people heard and stopped what they were doing. I told her my problems and she was unconcerned about the bad burger for my child and she stated that the chicken is supposed to be dry because it is normally covered in salad dressing. Not for the quesadilla. But the menu literally has the chicken option right under it. She was super angry and was giving us dirty looks for the rest of the time we were there.
I would never eat here again. Food was all bad. It all came from a freezer and nothing was fresh. Service was crap. And the owner clearly doesn't care about the people eating there. Just the money they have.
Such a shame too. The restaurant is in a nice location. If only the owner wasn't...
Read moreJulie's Park Cafe is a cozy little restaurant serving breakfast and lunch in the town of Fish Creek. First off, I have to say, we really enjoyed the service and the folks who run the place. They were attentive and very nice! We also loved the kitchy "planter" coffee mugs! What a fun touch to the cafe. The food came out fairly quickly after we ordered, and it was tasty. I would recommend the crepes with cherries, as they were quite delicious and satisfying. The chicken and waffle with pecan syrup was also a great brunch item on the menu. It was off-season for Door County, and the place was still hopping for a Sunday morning, so that speaks volumes of where the locals like to eat. I would say that it felt a little close in the interior of the Cafe, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Overall, this was a good breakfast spot in Door County, open year round, serving good food with...
Read moreWhat a nice place. It's one of those homey places and I'm not just saying that because it looks like it used to be a house. The service was great, it had a really upbeat but casual atmosphere, and the food was delicious. We will be going back there again for another round of breakfast. Plus the prices were VERY reasonable for what you get. (I'm from Chicago so maybe it's just me) The Heart Stopper was great. I love the addition of the cheese to the hashbrowns. We also got an apple cider donut from the bakery. Oh man...that was such a good donut. So check out the bakery too that's literally...
