5/8/25 this company is trash. The service here is horrible, always and they have no excuse for it because they have more than enough employees, the problem is that half of them are wandering around the kitchen like lost little puppies or they are on their phones, no one has any sense of due diligence or urgency to do their job.
It's not even busy and I just waited 10 minutes for an order. Mind you, it was supposed to be ready when I got there.
And then I was treated very rudely by the associate when it was ready.
You need to learn how to train your employees correctly.
It should be the same level of service across the board from any employee that a customer encounters.
Horrible service here
Update 10/21/23 I just came in to pick up an order and I stood there for 5 mins, in that five minutes at about 3 mins a random customer came in, through an exit door mind you, and stood by me and was helped first and I was completely ignored for 2 mins after that customer left. I was there first, it is not busy, there is NO EXCUSE for that. That was HORRIBLY Disrespectful. She didn't even apologize. Just acted like she had already asked me when she hadn't. The service here continues to be bad, cus THAT is not good service by any means. Not is it professional.
This place may be busy but that's no excuse to have terrible service. My pickup order was ready for over 6 minutes. I was standing there for 6 minutes, SIX. Before an employee even acknowledged me or asked which pickup I was there for, you had three orders ready and sitting there on the back counter. Why do you have a pickup area if you aren't going to put them on the pickup rack? It's really not that hard to see people standing there and know you have orders ready and figure out which one they're there for, you are making your customers food cold and wasting our time. Do better. Absolutely ridiculous.
It's bad enough the company is owned by a bunch of bigots.
You could at least get people their damn food when it's ready instead of letting it sit there while your employees sit there and giggle with each other....
Read moreI am writing as a concerned customer regarding a troubling experience I witnessed at the Chick-fil-A location in Appleton, Wisconsin. What I saw and later learned has left me incredibly disappointed in a brand that claims to uphold strong values of kindness, service, and respect.
On May 13, 2025, I observed what appeared to be a case of racial bias involving an employee—who I later learned was the only Black team member at the location. During a promotional event, the employee was assisting a customer who seemed increasingly rude and dismissive. Rather than being grateful for help, the customer demanded to be served by a white manager. When the manager stepped in, the customer's entire demeanor changed—suddenly calm, pleased, and satisfied. It was impossible not to notice the racial dynamics at play.
It’s even more upsetting to know that this employee had been repeatedly evaluated and monitored, far more than their white counterparts, and often excluded from workplace interactions. That employee ultimately walked out and quit that day—understandably so. No one should have to work in a place where they are treated as lesser, especially while doing their job with professionalism and care.
As a customer, this was heartbreaking to witness. I go to Chick-fil-A expecting not just good food, but the values the company claims to stand for: dignity, fairness, and kindness to everyone. This location failed to live up to that standard. What’s worse, it reflects the performative nature of those values when no real action is taken to support employees behind the scenes.
I strongly urge Chick-fil-A corporate to investigate what’s happening at this location and take meaningful steps to ensure your stores are not only “friendly” in appearance—but equitable in practice. Because this? This isn’t just a bad look. It’s a betrayal of your brand and your people.
Sincerely, A...
Read moreFirst time trying Chick-fil-A and I was shocked at how great of an experience it was. As we were pulling in I saw that the place was packed inside and out. 15+ cars in the drivethru and not an empty seat inside. I thought it was going to take forever, but I was determined to try it because I've heard so many good things. I have a family of 6 and thought for sure we'd be waiting forever and probably receive sub-par food since it was so busy. I'm happy to say that all of my assumptions were wrong. We walked in and not a free chair to be found. We went in line anyway, hoping someone would be finished eating by the time we got our food. Despite several parties ahead of us the line went very fast and we had our food ordered within minutes of walking in the packed building. We moved towards the middle of the dining room and sure enough a family was just finishing up. Within seconds of the prior party leaving, an employee was there cleaning the table. As we were sitting down our food was being delivered! It was no more than 8 minutes from the time we walked in to the time we had our food. Our orders were all correct, and we received all the sauces we asked for. The chicken was great. The waffle fries were great. Everyone was happy with their food (which is rare when you have a family of 6). I was about to get a refill and an employee offered to get it for me! The employees were super nice, and it felt genuine. Quality of the food and service was not impacted by the rush of customers today. I'm giving them 5 stars, but...
