The Cornflower Cafe is an absolute gem in our community! From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with the warmest smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The decor is charming, with beautiful floral arrangements and rustic touches that make you feel right at home. The menu is a delightful mix of comfort food and gourmet treats. Every dish I've tried has been a culinary masterpiece, made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The avocado toast is a must-try – perfectly seasoned and paired with the most delicious bread I've ever tasted. Their coffee is top-notch, rich, and aromatic, making it the perfect start to any day.One of the standout features of the Cornflower Cafe is their exceptional gluten-free bakery. As someone with dietary restrictions, finding delicious and safe gluten-free options can be a challenge, but the Cornflower Cafe exceeds all expectations. Their gluten-free pastries and breads are incredibly tasty, with textures and flavors that rival any traditional baked goods. What truly sets the Cornflower Cafe apart is the exceptional service. The staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels special and well taken care of.Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite, enjoying a leisurely brunch, or grabbing a coffee to go, the Cornflower Cafe is the perfect spot. I can't recommend it highly enough – it's a true haven for food lovers, especially those seeking gluten-free options, and a shining star in...

My first visit to this place was last October. I enjoyed an incredible breakfast. So good!! Since I was back to this location today, we decided to try out lunch. I was so looking forward to the same incredible food, but was sadly disappointed. We were told to take a seat with our menu. 2 other people walked in and their orders were taken before ours. As for the food, I ordered a chicken salad on a baguette. I’m pretty sure I got a stale leftover, dried out biscuit. No way it was a baguette. The chicken salad was missing ingredients like celery and walnuts. The biscuit just crumbed to pieces. I got a side order of fruit that consisted of only apples and a couple pieces of a cutie. My partner ordered an expensive salad that only had greens, beets and got cheese. Not sure why that was so expensive. It was good though. I’m definitely going to try this place out again before I completely give up on them. Hoping they can do better because I already can’t eat at many places with my...

There’s one consistent factor for my negative experiences here, the older lady that I’m sure is wonderful. She brings a sense of snobbery and lack of respect towards me, I’ve ordered here and planned to keep ordering here but with her energy I leave unhappy vs my first time here. Just saying, have some respect and empathy for the people who aren’t walking in dressed with the finest clothing. Sure I’m not the prime customer but I want to support the business because youre local.

My specific issue is ordering a pick up - the egg sandwich sub bacon for turkey burger. I’m happy to pay what it is you see fit, but one day it’s $8 the next it’s $6 the next it’s $11.

I want to continue coming here and understand you need to make a profit but bacon is a premium meat, turkey burger is a premium meat, so I don’t see why it doesn’t balance out.

They treated me with sarcasm and over the top customer servitude instead of...

This is a great little cafe! We had family in town and were searching for a vegan and gluten-free meal. This place was a complete score for every person. We had the French Toast, Turkey and Swiss, and The Waldorf. Even though I don't eat gluten-free free I am never opposed to tasty food. I liked everything that we had. It was a tiny little place. While we were there they had many take out and pick up orders. There were a few tables to eat in. Cute decor and big plants filled the room. The door is a bit hidden, look for the blue banner. They offered a bunch of frozen and fresh take and heat at home meals. There were specifically vegan and gluten free, also some things that were both. All the baked goods looked lovely. We will definitely be back for a fresh lunch or fun take home!

First time trying out! I got the turkey and Swiss, the bread is delicious as well as everything in the sandwich. It was made well. The sandwich came with a side of pickled veggies and omg those were so good I ate them before I took the picture but I already want more. If you have a gluten allergy or intolerance, even celiac (like me) you gotta try this place out. Has so many delicious options beyond just the menu to purchase (have my eye on pickled things and soups!). Also the people there are so friendly, it felt great going into a new place like that. Adding this to one of my favorites!!

This is a gem! Lovely, small local shop with a completely gluten free menu! I had the cinnamon roll French toast with bacon and fresh fruit and I was delighted to find that the taste and textures were spot on. There is minimal seating but they have plenty of options for carryout. There is a bakery case full of gluten free scones, muffins, brownies, cookies, etc. and a refrigerator case full of soups, take-and-bake pizzas, several types of fresh bread, and other baked goods. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Appleton!
