As seasoned patrons, we are well acquainted with the process of the All You Can Eat Grill Buffet. We head straight to the frozen foods buffet line, where we effortlessly grab our bowls and begin filling them with our favorite combinations of fresh ingredients. The range of options available is impressive, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences.
The Sauce Bar is a highlight for us, as we enjoy experimenting with different flavors. We confidently scoop up a generous minimum of five sauce ladles per bowl, creating tantalizing combinations that elevate our dishes to new heights. For those seeking inspiration or preferring tried-and-true combinations, the conveniently provided sauce combination cards or the combinations listed above the Sauce Bar offer helpful suggestions.
Navigating the grill area has become second nature to us. We are mindful of others waiting in line, so we move around the grill while keeping our bowls with us until they are claimed by the skilled grill masters. This courtesy ensures a smooth and efficient flow for all diners.
One aspect we particularly appreciate is the option of chairs and table seating. While some booths may show signs of wear and tear, the chairs and tables consistently provide a comfortable and inviting dining experience. It's clear that Hu Hot values their customers' comfort and takes pride in creating a pleasant ambiance for all.

Read moreWent here a few weeks ago with family after a long and stressful day. Was seated fast, and I go to order a drink: whiskey and soda. I'm told that they don't have liquor anymore because they want to be a more "family atmosphere"... that's fine if you are MacDonald's, not a sit down restaurant. Ok, so then I order a beer from the trimmed down beer list, told they were out of that too. Ok, I try a third option from the beer list, and guess what...out of that too. My response then was just "Ok I give up, just bring me water". So we go and get our food in the line and the food is always good but my one suggestion is that the tofu is way too watery and soggy that needs to be drained for it tohave any flavor or ability to soak up sauce. Back at our table and no silverware.
Another waitress/manager (didn't know her role, but not too friendly) then kind of quietly tells me that the real reason they're shutting down the bar is they got nailed for serving some underage person or something like that. But if they are shutting down the bar there really should be a sign about it. But anyway after we paid our check and got up to leave, the waitress/manager (not the one that initially took our quote-unquote order) was at the cash register right next to us and somehow magically a crumpled up straw wrapper flew in my face and I turned around and thought for some reason it might have been the table behind me, but then that same waitress/manager just looks at me says oops sorry. How a straw wrapper can just accidentally be thrown in my face is beyond me but that action alone is enough to stop anybody including my friends from ever eating there again when a customer is treated like that. I'm pretty sure she did that because she was annoyed with my criticism of their bar situation but that's not my problem that's theirs.
UPDATE: This is just to respond the owner's response which I do appreciate. I would like to provide the date and time when I was there so the owner can check the security cameras because if indeed that waitress / manager did throw that wrapper at my face then she needs to be dealt with strictly or face assault charges. If it was indeed some strange accident, then I will accept that and move on...
Read moreOf course the food is amazing, no doubt about that. But I have a story that shows the team went above and beyond for me in a time of need, especially two people in particular, Brooke & Kalleigh.
I was at Huhot on a Monday night, and my mom had given me $300 cash for my wedding. After our meal, we left the restaurant and I mistakenly left the cash my mom had given me in an envelope on the table. I didn't even realize until 3 hours later. This was one of the biggest "oh sh*t" moments of my life. I reached out to the Appleton HuHot and made them aware of the situation, and in another desperate attempt to get the money back I contacted corporate. That's where Kalleigh came in.
The next day, Kalleigh asked for all the details from me to determine where I was sitting, what time I was at the restaurant, and what I looked like so she could look at the footage from the night before. Turns out, the envelope I had left behind was thrown out by one of the servers who mistook it for trash. Kalleigh drove down from Green Bay on her day off to help find the money in the dumpster. She contacted me a little while later to let me know they had found it and that Brooke specifically was the one who came across the envelope after searching the trash. These two women went to the greatest of lengths to help me recover my money, which was something they didn't have to do. This situation was a huge testament to their character and overall the standard HuHot holds their employees to. I am so grateful for these two, and I could not recommend the...
