Mark's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Greece

This review is based on the manager and customer service, not the taste (which was great). Food arrived in the hands of the driver, which I thought was weird they weren't in some protective bag to keep warm. I tipped the guy but I could feel the box was cold already, but assumed it was just the box in the cold, and the food would be hot at least. Wrong. Barely even considered warm. Opened the box and no heat emanated from it, same with the wings. It was like the guy drove with the windows open and heat off. Then I saw the burnt pepperoni and overdone crust, and I had to call it in. The manager says "cup and char pepperoni should be a little more done than usual." I said "I only order cup and char pepperoni so I know what it is supposed to look like. This pizza is CLEARLY burnt, plus it's cold, plus you forgot our wing sauce," He says "so you want a credit or something?" I almost lost it...

I said I want you to remake the meal and I will come pick it up myself, and return this to you. I anticipated the manager being apologetic when I got there, to open the box and see the burnt pizza for himself, maybe give me a credit for the $6 delivery fee, but nope. Not a single word! He grabs the box, and brings somewhere else while a cordial young lady helped me out. I said no, you need to see what that pizza looked like and I showed her the pic. I said "does that look like a pizza you would want?" Her face said it all.

The new food was good tho. Love the Old World pizza option, and the garlic parm wings sauce was very good, especially mixed with buffalo sauce. Definitely on the much smaller side tho, so keep that in mind for heavy wing eaters. If I order from them again, it would be pickup and I would need to verify the food before I leave. Worst Order ever from Mark's!!! My wife and I have been loyal customers at Mark's for more years than we can count, even spreading such favorable word-of-mouth about "they truly have the best pizza in town." We have had a couple unsatisfactory orders delivered to us in the past year, but still the pizza was pretty comparable to other pizza chains. Yesterday's order: Placed at 06:12:21 pm, Server 671, Ticket 1118601, was the worst of such from Mark's ever!!! In fact the worst of any, equal to the burnt pizza from Papa John's, before they left town. The Loaded Cheesy fries ordered could of been used as a place mat, and the cheese for pavement. All the fries were hard like potato chips, and the cheese, just plain hard! It had to be thrown away! The Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza was also very over cooked!! The crispy chicken was dried out and tough, and the cheese.....again....could be used as pavement! Nearly the remaining half was thrown out. The only good parts of the order were the Mozzarella sticks, Tuna Sub, and the 2-Liter Coke. All this on a $54.26 order. Would you pay for this? What Happened!!! Were was the quality control??? The owner of Mark's should be advised that he just lost 2 long-time customers---FOREVER!! Also, cannot leave feedback on site, does not work....

We've been customers at the Greece locations for years. Today I tried to order so I can pick it up on my way home but I got a busy signal. NNot once but 4 times over a 20 minute period. I confirmed I had the right number and called a 5th time, busy signal. I decided I would just go and order in store and wait for it. I told the girl I don't know if you're aware but calls are getting just a busy signal, might have a phone problem. She said, I know we are very backed up. I didn't see anyone on the phone but it was definitely busy. When she asked how long a wait it would be for a pizza and wings she was told "Tell him it's like 45 to 60 minutes".

My thing is why not answer the phone and notify people you are very busy and backed up so it will be a much longer wait? People can decide for themselves if they are willing to wait or not. Instead I tried for 20 minutes to call, I drove 10 minutes from work and then I'd have to wait another hour. That's enough to make anyone annoyed. I simply walked out instead of making a scene.
