Tony's Birdland & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Greece

I've been ordering from this place for years and love their food. Unfortunately, the "manager" Ashley is so blatantly rude, dishonest, and unprofessional that I will no longer be supporting this business.

My father called to place an order for large subs. Shortly after, he received a call back from Ashley, who informed him that they were out of large rolls and suggested medium subs instead. I was witness to this entire exchange and can confirm that my father was nothing short of pleasant.

1. He asked the price difference between the large subs and the medium.
2. He asked if the medium rolls could be cut and combined together to equal a make shift large roll.

Ashley's loud, condescending, and rude reply was that they were very busy and she didn't have time to "argue". So she would be canceling the order, then hung up on him.

I, like most people, saw this as poor customer service. So I called back and asked to speak to a manger. I was connected to a woman and explained the situation, trying to see if we could come to an understanding.

The woman who I spoke to was Ashley. She replied by saying that all I wanted to do was argue and HUNG UP on me while I was speaking. I was trying to explain that we weren't trying to argue, that there was some misunderstanding, and she hung up on me.

I called back again, asked to speak to a manager, was handed off to Ashley, who laughed, then hung up on me again. This time before I could even speak.

If the owner, or a real manager is reading this, I hope you take into consideration how bad of an impression your employee is leaving...

I order every single Friday from Tonys Birdland on Dewey Avenue seeing I work and cook all week and need a break come Friday. When I order pizza or appetizers the food is really good but nothing else is worth the price. I have had a few problems with orders in the past but nothing big enough for them to lose my business until tonite. I ordered online a calzone requesting Alfredo sauce and a few other things for the family. I received a callback from Ashley who told me they did not have Alfredo sauce so as I was pulling up the menu online she proceeded to tell me that I could callback. I wasn't going to callback when 3 other orders were also being made for my family so I changed my order quickly requesting a calzone with pizza sauce, extra cheese, pepperoni and pineapple. I received my food to find that the calzone had no sauce in it and was completely burnt. I called back immediately disgusted by what my food looked like and asked for the manager and low and behold Ashley got on the line. This "manager" had the nerve to tell me what I ordered (no sauce in my calzone) and instead of being understanding and respectful decided it was better to be aggressive and argumentative. Some people shouldn't be the voice or face of a business clearly...if you can't handle the heat....stay the hec out of the kitchen!!! Do yourselves a favor and keep Ashley off of the phone or you may lose more customers. My business clients are your competitors and clearly I am ordering my food from the...

This is literally hands down the best restaurant ever! I don't even know where to start lol. I have been ordering from Tony's since about 2007. On average I order from them 2x a week...occasionally more. No jokes...I have NEVER had a bad meal from here. I always said my problem with them is not ordering just one thing because everything is SO amazing! My go to though is hands down..the cheeseburger plate. I have said this countless times....I find their meat sauce to be the best out of any meat sauce topping that I have EVER had (and I have had quite a few from different places). IMO nobody comes close. It is not too hot or too bland. Its just right. Way better than even the OG Nick Tahou's. I even order 5 or 6 sides of just the meat sauce and eat it like soup 😊. That is how great it is. And the wraps! Omgosh their wraps are amazing as well! 🤗❤️ They buffalo chicken cannot be beat. I have turned a lot of people onto Tony's. They are obviously my go to place. Never get sick of them. The quality is unmatched out of any similar place. It is hard nowadays to find a place that is consistent but Tony's proves it time and time again! LOVE. THIS....
