IHOP — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

I had a wonderfully pleasant dining experience at this particular IHOP location. I went with my two nephews. We were there at around 1:30 pm and the place wasn't crowded. We were seated upon entering and the waitress was very cordial and pleasantly gregarious. She set us up with menus and place settings upon sitting and asked us if we'd like beverages, coffee, or tea and gave us ample time to look through the menus and offered suggestions.

We ordered our entrees and she was nice enough to suggest substitutions to certain meal deals to save us money.

Looking around the establishment I found that the restaurant was clean and tidy and the bus staff paid attention to detail and cleanliness.

The waitress and staff were also tidy looking and presentable. And all were courteous and friendly. The atmosphere of the venue was calm and quiet and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. (As most IHOP places look relatively similar, except for the size of the venue.)

There was a mother with her 5 year old daughter there and our waitress was very nice and playful with the young girl and made her laugh and giggle with endearing conversation.

I only feel so bad that I didn't get the name of our waitress as I feel she should be commended for her exceptional service. (Next Time. LOL 😆)

I believe that anyone who comes here will have an equally pleasant and good experience here as I did.

The bathroom is tidy and they have ample parking and handicap accessible ramps...

Today after over 20 yrs of coming to this location I will never step one foot back in and instead go to the Yonkers location. Me and my family of 5 sat waiting for almost an hr at this franchise as the Manager Nicki who by the way wasn't working but sitting down in the waiting area with her Wife and did so the entire time we waited which was crazy because the restaurant was busy as normal on the weekends. As we waited a party of 7 whom had just walked in the door and obviously knew her ,they hugged both her and her wife and had a conversation with her that they called which last I checked IHOP is 1st come 1st serve. Either way as we continued to wait she told them they would be seated give her 2 minutes I then went to inquire why we were still waiting when we were told 15 mins as I was sitting back down she signals for them to be seated. I asked her why were they being seating before us and didn't have to wait nor were they on the list she tried to blame the young lady with the red hair who was in charge with seating customers. The older gentleman who has also been at this location for as long as I can recall didn't even know what to say or had any defense to the horrible judgement call she made. I asked him who owned this location and how I can make a complaint and he said to chk the bottom of the website. I've never been treated in such and unprofessional...

I understand weekends are very busy which I do not mind if my server takes longer to come and help my table. I do not appreciate my plate of food being smeared on top of the other plate and then placed on the table obviously making a mess and the server just walking away. Food was okay. My husband gives the server my card to pay and she completely forgets about it and misplaces my card and finally finds it inside her apron. I wish that’s all I had to say about this place but it continues. As I walk toward the bathroom with my daughter I knock to make sure if no one is inside and accidentally forgot to lock the door, and a old man worker is shouting at me to just push the door open. If there was someone in the bathroom that would have been very embarrassing for not just the person but for my daughter and I as well. As I shut the door I can still hear the employee talking bad about me for simply knocking on the bathroom door before opening it. This place was horrible, the employees are highly unprofessional and it’s really just sad that we couldn’t at least enjoy...
