Urban Central — Restaurant in Town of Greenburgh

I’m really torn on how to review this restaurant. I would lean towards 3.5 stars. Went on a Friday night and it was dead. Service was great and attentive. My husband and I ordered the burrata and broccolini tempura for appetizers and I had the sole and husband had salad and truffle fries for entree. Dessert we had the apple crumble on flatbread

Burrata - 10/10 - absolutely delish and very fresh tasting Broccolini - 7/10 - the broccolini itself was really good but the sauce was too sweet for my taste and it’s poured over the broccolini so every bite was sweet. I think this dish would be better with grated cheese and lemon on the side. Garden Salad - 9/10 - very fresh and yummy - nothing amazing but very good. Truffle fries - 7/10 - good flavor but too thin - didn’t get much potato taste but the seasoning was good. Sole - 1/10 - now this was my biggest problem. The fish was awful. Whatever they battered it in was just not good. Tasted like old egg batter. Sadly it was a $27 dish that I barely finished. Apple crumble - 5/10 - the crumble part was good but it was oddly on a savory tasting flatbread which was very tough to cut through. The 2 flavors and textures did not go well together.

So excited for this spot to open. Serving new American food, it’s a great addition to the area. Food is reasonably priced, with most entrees costing $17-25. The food was all great, and they have a lot of yummy gluten free options for our gluten free companion. The cauliflower crust is made in house for flatbreads, and it was delish! Fig flatbread was so yummy. My friend got the burger and said it was was fantastic. I had the shrimp tacos, which the photo doesn’t do it justice! The sauce was really unique and savory. Another person had the steak sandwich, which was also super tasty and full of flavor. Drinks are reasonably priced as well. We recently ordered lunch to go and got the grilled chicken sandwich. Another great entree item! Can’t wait to go back soon and try more things off the menu. This will become a regular spot of ours, and I would highly recommend...

Stopped in here on a Wednesday night, just a couple days after opening. On thing that's immediately clear is the restaurant is in good hands. Service was excellent and food was consistently great for my group, which is hard to pull off just a couple days in. Very creative cocktails and a well rounded beer selection on tap. All three different cocktails we had were excellent. Food was fantastic, we had mussels, octopus, steak sandwich and the house burger. All cooked perfectly. Warm and inviting modern interior, comfortable at table or bar seats. Parking in the area is always a little bit of a chore, but there are public lots down the side street and certainly worth the effort of a short walk.
