Maybe my first visit would of been better if I said I was from News12. It's mother's day very busy bad choice on my part to make my first time a holiday. Being a Loyal customer to Ben's on Queens Blvd. which is closed now and Katz with all that traffic I said let me give them a try. Cashier appeared over worked. Lots of big catering orders . Walk in order wait time was 30 minutes. I'm hype I'm excited it must be good. I saw a receipt for one order almost $500.00. Wow I'm getting really excited. I finally get to order from what I was asking the cashier suggested a specialty off of the menu. I needed it a certain way but the specialty items there's no changes. I don't work there I didn't know. After over hearing the remarks from the kitchen about my order I wanted to walk out. I had two orders one was done was waiting for the special order. I understand working with the public is hard but you learn to cope with years of experience. Even though this one is closer to me I may visit the first location in the Bronx next time. The portion was smaller than the pictures . Meat was not too flavorful but it was tender the mustard definitely helped. Good luck next time. Just saw a video wow he was the owner that was speaking rudely in the kitchen area. Nice place needs better...
Read moreAfter 71 years, Liebman’s expands and arrives in Westchester County and it does not disappoint. The coleslaw was crisp, tangy and delicious and it paired well with the dill and half sour pickles. Inside tip, the macaroni salad will be the star of any family BBQ this summer. We had a triple decker (turkey, corned beef & pastrami) and a small child can use the dish as a hiding place for hide and go seek. Turkey is so easy to dry out but it was moist and flavorful and it still was the bronze medalist on the meat stand. Corned beef was moist, sweet and tangy and paired really well with the pickles. The star hands down was the pastrami which was smokey, juicy and melts in your mouth. There’s so much more to review from our afternoon (hot dogs, egg salad, fries, onion rings and matzah ball soup) but we only have so much space.
This new location for Liebman’s will reward faithful fans who may have moved north from the original location as well as introduce delicious Jewish delicatessen staples and more to the...
Read moreGiving this establishment 4 stars for the following reasons: 1. Parking - had to abandon my car (with another driver in it) at a corner of the parking lot because there were no available spaces (which I understand is not the issue of the establishment itself!); 2. The front parlor of the deli is packed - it is very hard to determine where the line for the tables ends, and the line for take out begins; there is a number tableau on the wall - the take out crowd can definitely benefit from the ticketing system; 3. Absolutely no options for people with food allergies; you know how big the gluten-free wave is!!! Please consider offering gluten-free bread for the sandwiches, and maybe some other items.
Otherwise, the sandwiches were fresh and warm; Cole slaw had just enough mayo, and the pickles were crunchy. The gentleman who prepared our sandwiches was attentive to the details of our order, and offered forks and napkins (which a lot of other restaurants...
