I truly miss what Planet Pizza use to be. My family and I have been faithful loyal customers for over 25 years. These past few years, they have been going down.
The atmosphere is terrible. I’ve had attitude given to me on the phone and in person, orders incorrect, etc. I’ve tried to ignore it but my most recent interaction was my final straw. I walked in there with a friend and we were standing at the counter for 5 minutes and were ignored.. they saw us and intentionally ignored us.
I told my friend I’m not spending my money here and started walking out. Maybe they noticed I was walking away so one of the workers that’s been there for years finally spoke. I attempted to order a slice I ALWAYS order. It’s never in the counter, i just order it and they typically add the toppings to a plain slice. This time, the worker was completely disinterested in what I wanted and told me to pick from the counter. It was the coldness in his tone, like I was bothering him.
We walked out. It was in that moment I realized I will never spend another dime with Planet Pizza & I mean that. I went down the road to another pizzeria, they were SO WELCOMING & it was my first time there & the food was good. That further solidified my decision to never spend my money with Planet Pizza.

Read moreI placed an order for pick up, it was friday night july 18th. I came to pick up my order shortly after. The guy making the pizza completely ignored me, a young bigger guy wearing a black hat with a mustache. I looked at him and said I'm picking up - completely ignored as if I'm not even there. He definitely heard me as I was 2 feet from him.
he continued to do other things until another guy came to help me. The pizza was already ready, sitting on top of the oven. It was not hard to just hand it over.
The pizza was OK (it's not the best pizza around - but I got no complaints) but the service and disregard is just not necessary.
if you are busy and cannot help a customer - no problem. Just say so. Say I'll be right there or someone is coming to help. I understand it's friday night and you're working but maybe it's just not the job for you then. We had placed the online order at 8:30 PM and it said it was going to be done by 9:05pm and so we arrived at 9:05pm. When we arrived I asked for an order of wings (which typically takes up to 10 minutes to make- I know as I worked in a pizzeria before). As we waited for the wings, many people came, placed an order and got their orders. 20-25 minutes had passed and we finally went up to them and asked them about our order. Turns out, it was done but they never told us about it. We got the order and we went to the car, my girlfriend decided to check the bags to make sure everything was send correctly, and I’m glad she did because we were missing my sub.
