I love you, Shake Shack, but this location needs to do a better job with delivery orders. I am an Uber Eats driver, I’ve been here three times now to pick up orders and all three involved lengthy wait times. However, last night was a little over the top. I received stacked orders, one from a place down the street and one from shake shack. I picked up the first order then stopped at shake shack to pick up the second, and ended up waiting at least 20 minutes (it felt like a lot longer). This in itself is frustrating for delivery drivers, because time is money for us; however this was compounded by the fact that the other order was simply being held hostage in my car while I waited. I had to call that first customer and explain to him why I had picked up his food half an hour ago and still hadn’t left (he was blessedly understanding and kind about it, but that is not always the case). I should also note that every time I’ve picked up here, I’ve also found myself surrounded by other delivery drivers who were also waiting, fidgeting and checking the time. After chatting with some of them I worked out that shake shack is taking orders from a number of delivery services, including Uber, Grubhub, Doordash, and Postmates, on top of their own online ordering system. Maybe the volume of orders is too high or poorly organized; maybe the staff isn’t working efficiently enough; maybe it’s some combination of those things. I just think that, because takeout/delivery is the norm during this pandemic, things should be moving a little more quickly. There shouldn’t be fifteen delivery people (I am not exaggerating, I promise) lined up outside all looking at each other scratching their heads. I’ve become hesitant about accepting orders from this location...
Read moreI frequent shake shack often. I went here for a quick snack after going to the theater but that was not what I end up happening. I ordered the basic chicken sandwich french fries and soda to go and stood at the end of the line waiting for the order to come out. I waited and waited staring at the register along with a whole bunch of other people. after about 20 minutes I walked over and asked where my water was and it was sitting in a bag on the inside counter I grabbed it and on my way out I felt it and everything was cold. I didn't have the time or the energy to go back and wait again for them to make a fresh order. So I ended up having a cold chicken sandwich and warm fries January 11th went back again. This time took 40 minutes for a burger fries and a soda left hand and right hand doesn't know what they're doing manager just sat eating his lunch while everyone was staring at him. When it came out and got to the car of course missing napkins condiments and my burger was not done the way I...
Read moreNothing special at all. I was there 2 days ago and had a cheeseburger with a mushroom on it, french fries and an ice tea. The bill was $20+. How do you think I feel that I spent all that money and got nothing but grease serve to me? Their famous shakes are so small and so expensive, it's ridiculous. What's the point of having a shake when you can't even get one large, it's only 1 size. The place is not even neat and clean and there's a ton of workers in the back. You figure this out. I will admit that the Burger was tasty and the fries were good but I could have gone to McDonald's and taken food home and would have been more satisfied. This is not worth spending the money on any level. You don't want to know the synonym that I want to use for shake shack, trust me. Parents don't go here. The workers as you walked in were indeed very good. It's a shame the food doesn't match the help. Try it once and maybe you won't get ripped off and hopefully...
