Feb 12.2023 - Still amazing food...their wings seriously the best in Westchester...proven by the fact that they were slammed on Superbowl sunday...I placed online order (only way to order really) at 2:22pm that day and the pickup time came back 2:57...hmm pretty quick i thought...well...when i arrived there must have been 20-30 people inside...i made my way to the lady behind the register to tell her i was picking up online order ready at 2:57 under Patty...She explained they were so busy that pick up time is more like 1 hour from order time...No problem...i 'll be back at 3:30..went to trader joes...came back at 3:25...now there are 40 people inside and it's kinda chaotic...Same lady is seriously overwhelmed and it becomes clear very very quickly that she does not have a handle on the situation...the kitchen seems to be cranking out the chicken and there is one guy packing up boxes...but no one is bagging and completing the orders...the Lady is just walking back and forth looking at a few previously bagged orderes...customers keep trying to tell her when their pick up time is and she doesn't have much of a response for them...She isn't calling out any names...or HELPING the guy who is boxing up chicken and trying his best...finally a customer suggests she start announcing names on completed orders...so she attempts to do this...but her very heavy accent and meek voice...make it impossible for anyone to understand her...the frustration is growing...as is the amount of food just sitting there waiting to be organized into complete orders...i'm beginning to think that this not the right job for her...she is flailing ...it's pandemonium...really... i'm thinking that this situation is spiraling and an hour past my pickup time...i might not get my food...When...miraculously...a guy runs thru the doors whipping off his jacket...he disappears to the back...hopefully to wash his hands...and returns...he surveys the situation...and starts completing orders and bam...in like 7 minutes i have food in hand and am out the door..."That Guy" most likely saved the day!!!! for me and all the customers waiting...and waiting...and waiting...and waiting... The lady...however...during this whole 7 minutes was obsessed with something on the screen of her register...not doing anything to actually be helpful...She might as well have been somewhere else entirely...seriously what is her job...because it wasn't to help anyone... I totally get that it was a crazy busy day...football and wings...buffalo or korean...doesn't matter they are it for the day...and i will still be customer because i literally dream of their wings...Yum-O! Hopefully they will review their systems or plan for a potential busy day...with competent customer facing people...who can multi-task... there was zero indication of potentially running out of food...which makes me think they had a bit of a clue... ...hopefully owners will take stock...i'm sure they made a lot of $$ that day...in any case... PS...my food was outstanding...quality, consistent, delishness will not change my rating over one day... Still a huge fan!!!
Jan 20th ish....Ordered online...picked up a few minutes late...no problem...couldn't wait to get home...opened box and snarfed a boneless wing...AmAzing!....DeLish!...so good...could have eaten the a whole box...but then the DH would be...
Read moreWhen I first walked in I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of flavors and was eager to order. To bad the staff was not as eager or enthusiastic as I was. After a quick hi, I could see the 2 people standing off to the side conversing and probably getting ready to leave. I would care about that if I were a supervisor but as a customer I'm wondering if someone is going to take my order today? Needless to say this was not a great or even ok first experience with this restaurant. There was no one else there to order. I finally was able to order when the older gentleman told one of the young guys who JUST CLOCKED IN to take my order. Sooooo, glass half-full thinking, I was told hi and he did eventually get someone to take our order but I highly doubt I will be returning to this establishment. I have yet to try the food because I am currently waiting for it but I hope it is amazing to account for this experience. AND YOU CANNOT ORDER A 16 PIECE IN 2 DIFFERENT FLAVORS, you must spend more and order two 8 pieces. I may have gotten over that a bit more had I not just stood there waiting but rather be greeted and spoken to like a human being/customer. This also would have allowed me to order all that I originally was going to order but decided against as I waited. Thanks, I will update if the food is good. But it seems like I will have to stick to bon chon and the 2 flavors they provide, good service makes food taste...
Read moreThis review is only for the service. I ordered my food at approximately 5:30 and arrived to pick up at 6:00. As I walked to the door I received a text stating that my order has been confirmed. Annoyed but thinking I should have checked the pickup time, I decided to go to hmart to waste a little time. Come back to find a bunch of people waiting. I patiently wait my turn. 5 minutes pass by and still no one to help. Finally a man comes to the front and asks the gentleman who came in after me if he is picking up. I tell him that I’ve been waiting, but he rolls his eyes and proceeds to walk to the back. Another few minutes pass. He comes back and finally asks my name. Meanwhile, all you hear is the guys in the back yelling at each other. The man goes to the back again....... Finally another man comes to the front and says give me a min and I’ll be back to deal with you all. I could not believe what I was seeing/hearing. We have been ordering from here for a while, but this experience makes me not...
