*OK so update: manager of that store Deja Gould called me back and left a message. After calling back several times I was able to get on the phone with her. After a brief chat, she determined that while she had wanted to offer me some kind of credit she could not because I had not been put into the system (since my order timed out). No clarity on why she couldn’t add me to the “system“.Don’t go to Wonder you guys. Don’t. Go! 🙏🏻
I don’t have any other reviews like this online, but I guess this is my “Karen” moment lol. I felt the need here though: This was one of the worst/dumbest experiences I’ve had recently, and a real reminder of “the end of an era,” so to speak, of the old school customer-deferral approach. Anyway, I went in with my son and ordered on the screen. We could see a couple of employees milling around in the back and then later up front/going out and in. I hadn’t been before so I kind of waved and nodded to them like “I’m here,” since I was unsure of the protocol. After a few minutes we finalized our order, and I chose “pay in cash.” The screen said something along the lines of “order in progress; a cashier will come take your payment.” I sat down close to their line of vision and waited. Prob about 15 mins or so later I approach and ask the guy standing there chatting with another employee about the order. (Keep in mind this guy saw us ordering AND sitting there at an empty table.) He says flippantly “no I don’t see it, it probably timed out so you can just go ahead and put it in again.” So I was genuinely confused for a second like “What was supposed to happen here?” So he says to me there’s usually someone upfront with a cash box.“ my response was obviously “so then who messed up? I’m pretty sure I did my part??” I won’t belabor the entire exchange, but he basically spent the rest of the interaction trying to avoid accountability and gaslight me into thinking I was remiss, when realistically they were too busy chatting behind the line to attend to their customers. It’s pretty crazy because I worked in service and in restaurants etc., and the only possible response I could imagine being appropriate would be: “Oh sorry — do you mind putting it in again?” or something like that. Very odd. In any event, I grabbed the manager’s card because it was sitting right there. She didn’t pick up or respond to my message yet, but I guess I’ll see if that happens. I still have to try Wonder, but I think I’ll do the one in Pleasantville. Thanks for...

Read moreI tried to give this place a chance, but it’s a no go for me. Ordered from them a few times each time had mistakes, but the second to last time I ordered late Friday night I have a young baby didn’t feel like cooking. The order arrived the entire large pizza was missing. How in the world is the large pizza missing? How is that a mistake? I didn’t know if it was the driver the restaurant but mysteriously the soda was missing as well so someone had a nice little meal missing of a large pizza and soda. I will say I called and they were very nice. and even though because it was too late at night they weren’t able to send me the pizza. They refunded me the pizza Which actually now that I think of it was not nearly enough because I should’ve been compensated as well and all I got was the refund of the pizza. I decided to give them another shot and again I swear I must be on punked the tv show. The large Pizza was MISSING AGAIN. Again, how do someone miss an entire large brick oven pizza? Something funky is going o. Then I go on the app to get a replacement because I called the customer service number and nobody answered and no one ever returned my call because I left a message, and they sent me a replacement fair enough. But thr app has the nerve to pop up with a message and say “This one’s on us” What do you mean this one is on us? I never got the pizza I paid for. HowThe hell is that on us? I cannot imagine how a restaurant that cannot even remember to include a large pie, which is like 2 feet long is gonna stay in business. And again they did refund me for the Pizza as they should however, it took me two hours to get the Pizza a whole Lotta hassle and a lot of blood pressure raised for no reason will not ever be...
