Real rating is 4.25. Google should increase their star count or give us fractions. It's not the best I've ever had but it 100% surprised me. Being honest, my expectations were set low. Didn't know what Honey Baked Ham Co. was before going in. Was hoping for a Boston Market type vibe, it wasn't hence my low expectations.
Got 2 of the smallest family meals (1 meat, 1 side, 4 rolls each). Chose 1 portion turkey, 1 portion ham, stuffing, smashed potatoes, and 8 rolls. Had to cook the sides in the oven at 375 for 55 mins. Meat gets eaten at room temperature, so take it out of fridge 2 hours before the meal.
Meat had a great flavor and wasn't dry. The stuffing was moist and crunchy at the same time. Had visible celery and rosemary in it making it herby and peppery. Smashed potatoes contained cheddar, bacon, and chives. Only complaint there was that the chives on top turned into ash.
To end, I bought the rum cake sampler for dessert. Contains 4 different flavors. I didn't try them yet but I expect them to be good. Will update this post once tasted.
All and all, try this spot. It's something different and surprising especially when you don't...
Read moreRosa is an excellent host and this franchise location is impeccably clean. Parking is satisfactory and handicapped parking is good. Note: that this place did survive Covid, which is much to say being it was only open one year prior to Covid being announced. I believe that fact that they cater their items for people to take home has been their strong point in keeping this business open. However, labeling this place as an eat in place, is not accurate. There are a few menu choices to order from and the prices are pretty steep for what is on the menu. I surveyed their catering freezers, yes they have freezers full of take home meals; however these items are not on the regular menu for you to taste. Example, if you are going to purchase a family size mac & cheese to take home, you might want to taste it in the restaurant to make sure you want to commit to the high price you're going to pay. This option is not available. That is why I am giving this particular franchise location three...
Read moreI was here once and because they were busy with holiday items they would not make me a fresh sandwich. I had to turn to the refrigerator and choose from premade selection. I think they termed it Box and go. So I left. I don't know if I'll ever return. They do have a nice selection of food. They do have some nice desserts. I'm sure it's easy if you enjoy ham. Maybe one day I'll go back and theyll make me a fresh sandwich. They should open up for breakfast and have ham and eggs in the morning with Orange juice and coffee and they'd make more money. But these people don't think out of the Box. When you walk in and you're the only person that asked for a fresh sandwich and they turn you down, you know there's something wrong with...
