I recently visited Josie’s table with high hopes for a pleasant evening, but unfortunately, my experience fell short due to a disappointing interaction with the bartender. While the ambiance of the establishment was welcoming and the setting itself conducive to an enjoyable time, I was left deeply upset by how I was treated.

At some point during the evening, I was abruptly cut off from ordering additional drinks. While I understand that it is the bartender’s discretion to make such decisions, what I found troubling was the manner in which it was handled. The bartender was dismissive, rude, and incredibly short with me, offering no explanation for the decision. Instead of addressing me with respect or professionalism, the interaction felt confrontational and unnecessarily harsh.

As a paying patron, I would have appreciated some level of communication or at least the courtesy of being treated with dignity. Being cut off without explanation, combined with the curt demeanor, left me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. It was not just about the drinks but about the lack of respect and customer service that marred the entire experience.

Josie’s table has so much potential, but interactions like these can tarnish a guest’s perception of the establishment. I hope management takes the time to address how these situations are handled in the future. Clear communication, respect, and professionalism are key to ensuring all patrons feel valued—even when difficult decisions must be made.

While I wish I could wholeheartedly recommend Josie’s table, this incident has left me hesitant to return or recommend it to others. I truly hope this feedback is taken to heart and used to improve the customer experience...

I have been excited to try this restaurant for a while now. While I was out Christmas shopping in the Plaza, I decided to finally give it a try for a weekday lunch.

They were very busy at lunchtime; it seemed to be a mix of holiday shoppers and business lunches. I waited a bit for a table, although I was greeted right away, and was eventually asked if the bar was okay. It was, and the bartender was very pleasant despite how busy she was. 5/5 on service for sure.

I also loved the atmosphere. It was a bit noisy due to the crowd, but still at a volume that you could hear just fine. Very nice space that was well lit and decorated. 5/5 here too.

Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the rest of the experience. There was nothing "wrong" with any of it. The bread I ordered for an appetizer was good, but I am not sure it was worth $6; some of it was more toasted too, almost like toast instead of warmed bread. I ordered the Kilcoyne burger, which again was fine. However, for $19, I expected more, I suppose? Nothing about it really set it apart from any other average burger. The one item I loved was the fries, well worth the $2 I paid to have these instead of macaroni salad. Delicious with the garlic aioli dipping sauce, too.

Total for the food and a strawberry lemonade was over $40 with tip and tax. This was pretty expensive for lunch. I might come back to try an entree for dinner, but with so many options out there, it will be a bit before I...

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO WHO EVER GAVE THE REACTIONS. I AM NOT GETTING CREDIT FOR THEM. AND ALTHOUGH I LIKE DOING THE REVIEWS, I MAY STOP. Visited Josie's Table again tonight. I got my usual burger and fries which are very good. My wife had oysters to start which she liked very much and then a fish special which she also said was good. She took 1/2 of the meal home for tomorrow. Our waiter was Liam. He was very friendly, prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. A fine representative for the business. We went again for easter brunch. My wife got eggs Benedict which she liked. I got a regular breakfast which was very good. I tried the turkey hash, which I think is better for you. Our waitress was Ashley, who was very nice and helpful. Gee, we are getting to be regulars. I guess we are visiting a lot as we ate there again tonight. I had my usual burger and fries, I must be hooked. My wife had her usual oysters, and this time got a burger also. She was not as keen on the burger as I am. She likes fish but decided to try the burger. Was going to be a busy night so all we could get was a high top table by the bar. It was ok. Our waiter was Todd. He was very friendly and upbeat. I have to say all of the wait staff seem very friendly. This review is getting longer and longer, I...

Today I’m reviewing my dinner from Josie's Table A small group of 3 of us meet here for dinner. ( from the ladies only social group. ) The purpose of the group is to meet new cool ladies in the area and try new places. On Facebook the group is dine & dish 518 This was my first time coming here. It was a cute lil vibe. A lot of people were there seated At tables and at the bar. I’m not really a huge drinker but they seem to have a large list of different drink options available. Wines, cocktakes and mocktales. It was kinda loud, but that should be expected on a saturday night. However, we were still able to talk and communicate within my small group. My waitress was very friendly and intentive. I ordered the mushroom rigatoni with added salmon. The food pretty good . I think we paid more for the expierence. It was a lot of food tho. I ended up taking half of it home to eat later. I liked the sauce, but it was a little salty. The star of the show? THAT SALMON!! 👏🏽👏🏽cooked great . I would def go back just for the salmon alone. It was cooked perfectly. Well done but was not dried out at all. And seasoned very well Chefs kiss 👩🏽‍🍳👩🏽‍🍳 The salmon I would def get again. —51ATE
