I work down the road and when I decided I wanted a delicious italian lunch, this was definitely the best place to go! For some reason, I only got their lunch special of a sub and salad for quite a long time. It was so hard to not get a sub whenever I went there. It had the fresh roll softness, with lots and lots of meat with the best italian dressing! Eventually I tried the pizza and now I am torn between a sub and pizza every time I go there. Delicious - not your average chain pizza crap everywhere else. Only negative thing I have to say is that there is a young woman who works there that couldn't give a crap about manners. She gave lots of attitude and wasn't friendly. The owner is a strong minded person who doesn't like to waste time, so he sometimes overlooks comments the girl makes simply because he has a lot on his plate. He hates when customers have to wait so he always trys his best to get you out the door with your food.
Overall: don't let the worker(s) discourage you because the food is delicious. Growing up in an italian household, I am very pleased to have found a place that knows how to make a decent bowl of...
Read moreThis was a Reddit find. The chatter has been good and increasingly becoming more frequent. Party of four in an adorable little dinning room. You walk into a traditional strip mall slice joint, then (if you have a reservation) they usher you into the side dinning room. We ordered, large buffalo chicken, large meat pizza and a personal margarita with prosciutto. The sizes are exceptional. The heartiness, fantastic. The crust, great integrity to fold with a crisp and carry all the toppings. The sauce is clearly a fresh tomato with no added frills. Served hot but a single waitress/bar-keep. She would definitely be too busy alone if the dinning room filled up but was attentive. Back to the food, the flavors were all there. But if red sauce with buff and added a hint of sweetness to a perfectly spicy buffalo chicken that was juicy chicken held in place with just enough cheese. I tasted every meat, pepperoni, sausage, meatball and bacon on the meat pie. Toppings were not skimpy. I can’t wait to go back to try more. This is keeper. Photos are a couple of slices in but you can see...
Read moreI was a customer for over five years. I say WAS because Marisa's lost me as a customer today. It wasn't just because they didn't have any cheese pizza to sell on the day when their special is two cheese slices and a fountain drink for $5.00, but because the owner was rude when the girl at the register asked if she could substitute something else. This is after I came back a second time when I realized I didn't have enough cash to pay and had to go to the ATM across the main road.
When I called later to point out that they should have cheese pizza to sell during the dinner hour on the day they have this special the owner couldn't be bothered to speak with me and the girl at the register hung up on me when I told her that I didn't want another apology.
It was the rudeness and the apparent lack of caring of their customer's opinion that drove me away. I can find pizza elsewhere. It was the only thing I liked there anyhow and more and more often the dough had bubbles in it. Also, their dinners aren't that good...
