NO CLEAR INDICATED SEATING, AND SERVERS THAT CAN’T MULTITASK! After sitting in the bar area for 5 minutes and not being approached, I saw and noticed that the bar is not their dining room. Absolutely no signage to indicate that the dining room is where we’ll be served, and the host stand is located behind a different door. We go over, a helpful young man apologized for having us wait, and he sat us. Shortly after being sat, we were approached by a thin, female Caucasian waitress with brunette, short hair who said hello and took our drink order (did not offer her name). We got our drinks and She asked “would you need another minute?” We responded yes. As my partner was in the bathroom, waitress walked past my table a couple of times without acknowledgement. When my partner returned, we were still being ignored, for 30 minutes! At no point did our waitress look our way, acknowledge us, or inform us that she’ll be ready for us shortly. NOTHING! After 35 minutes, we paid for our drinks and started to walk out. As we got up, waitress intersects us and asks if we’re ready. We both told her that we were waiting 30 minutes and we were leaving. She got defensive and said “I asked you two if you needed a minute or not”. I explained to her that we saw her walk past our table to different tables about 16 times and never once looked to us, even though we had our menus down for a solid 25 minutes! Fairly, we never got a chance to order, so we can’t claim how the food is. But we left for two reasons: 1) the 35 minute wait, and 2) the waitress that never apologized; she tried arguing with us to get us to stay. Which is rather rude; usually, if you make a mistake, you try to apologize. No apology was offered at all! Be warned: unless you’re there solely for drinks or you have a large-party reservation, you will...
Read moreWent to this restaurant back in October,it was really good food, party of four adults It was October,so we didn't mind sitting in the back in closed porch, but it was drafty, food was good,so we decided to stop by the first weekend in March, 2025 Myself my husband my child, Ordered chicken fingers and Fry's, Corn beef dinner, and shepherds pie And soda and tea The waitress was polite, brought us drinks Then we ordered, I took a sip of my tea, and it's was flat and tasted like mold, I pushed it a side and ordered a sprite ,that was flat and also tasted like mold, I took my child's drink Root beer, that was moldy was well , that was disgusting, Please clean and flush your lines, gross Chicken fingers were very over cooked, and dry ,they hid a burnt one at the very bottom, and the Fry's tasted like fish. Corn beef dinner, half of cabbage, and two carrots, literally one half of a large carrot cut in half, really ? And shaved corned beef, the corn beef was dry, and come on who wants a shaved lunch meat style slices as dinner?? It was food ,that's All nothing special! The shepherd's pie, was dry, nothing like we had in October, it was water down gravy, and hardly any at that, the filling was minimal Over All the bill was $80.00 , just unreal for frozen food basically, and if your a Irish bar, and you are pre making the food to freeze, it should be a dam good ,dish to begin with! Very disappointed. They had maybe eight people working the floor that's with the bar, How do you over cook chicken fingers,?? How about flushing them soda lines before someone really gets sick , that's has health issues! To say the least, just save yourself the time ,and only order a, beer I guess Do better, retrain, clean up your restaurant, And put pants on the staff !! It's not a great look ! And cook...
Read moreGood local spot for all the Buffalo bar food favorites and then some. Food is usually good and consistent. Lots of cocktail and bottled/ canned drink options, definitely an upscale bar offering and not a pub. There is a section of the menu which also has some healthy but delicious entrees. Lots of room with a huge indoor seating area, outdoor patio and tons of TV’s in the bar to watch the big game.
This time we sat on the patio, there was plenty of space between tables. We ordered the combo 1 and shepherds pie. Combo 1 was good and same as it always is, flavorful and cooked properly. The beef was tender and the Montana wings and sweet potato fries were crispy. The shepherds pie was ok, could have used more gravy.
The staff was wearing masks and the service was good. I am taking off a star because there were young men waiting inside for a table at the hostess stand area, waiting for a table, masks off and drinking. Several waitresses walked by and didn’t ask them to step outside or put their masks back on. During our dinner the same young men, in a group of 8-10, came outside on the patio area and smoked and vaped around other patrons. Again the staff didn’t ask them to step to the parking lot, which is 5 steps off the patio, and let them crowd around guests who were eating at a table. I hope this was an off day, I don’t feel comfortable coming back to a place which allows other guests to do as they please...
