Generally I provide positive reviews and warnings for the really bad experiences. This is a tough one. The wings were AWESOME! Cooked perfectly (well/crisp) and the sauce is top notch. I am a huge wing fan and this place gets two thumbs up for that. Upon arrival it was unclear if it's seat yourself for dining. Had a hard time getting eye contact or attention of bartender to ask. There is not a dedicated hostess but they will seat you (sign would help). Tables were full so we sat at the bar. We do that often as a couple if it's not too crowded and is civilized at the bar. Once seated the service was good. Atmosphere was great, cozy small town feel, exposed old beam ceiling, clean. The music was at a good level and was blues/southern rock. PERFECT so far. An individual arrived an was at the bar, very loud and obnoxious. Made sure the whole bar knew he was a Hamburg Fireman. He asked for the music to be changed and was denied. He went behind the bar and changed it to Irish drinking songs - TERRIBLE. Then he started shots - the staff apparently know him and had shotS with him. We decided that the deterioration of service and atmosphere was untenable and cashed out. We watched 8 other people leave at the same time. Three things - 1) We would have stayed longer as would others. Control your known trouble customer, you lost 10 customers in minutes 2) As a retired 25 year veteran of the Emergency Services, I am embarrassed by this guy 3) I will try this establishment again in the next few months... Everything was excellent to start, if a similar incident occurs I would regretfully recommend the removal from the...

The Buffalo resident is a fickle consumer of wings. They can be neither soggy nor too dry. The sauce can't be too hot or too vinegary. God help you if a wing joint assumes you wanted ranch. But in true Buffalo fashion, they’re too nice to ever put a place down.
Mammoser’s is a dark, calm corner of the world I feel I could retreat to anytime. The wings aren’t saucy in the traditional way, but instead rubbed with a mostly dry seasoning. I can see whole pepper flakes coating the wings. I bite into one and rejoice at the flavors and textures from the crispy skin and perfectly cooked chicken. I tear the bones out of the flat as I continue to eat like a Bills-loving caveman. Before I know it, the wings are reduced to a bowl full of bones, and I'm leaning back in my chair, wiping my hands clean with a moist towelette. It’s like I just remembered I live in 2025 instead of 2000 BC.
Buffalo wings are food for any occasion. I've eaten them after breakups, graduations, Super Bowl parties, and at funerals. And if you have something going on in your life—good or bad—you should sit down at this place, drink a beer, and eat some wings in multiples of ten. Make a stupid joke to the bartender, and for a moment, just think about how nice...
Read moreBased on a recommendation from a friend who is from here, we took the journey to Mammoser's, and it was awesome! A true local establishment. The wings were meaty and delicious. I cook wings at home, and I'm good, but I must say these are better! I'm humbled. We got mild, and they were quite spicy! My 3 kids had a patty melt which looked delicious (he ate it all), a chicken salad which was huge (he ate till he was full, then we helped), and mozzarella sticks, and she ate them all. More wings for the grownups, and I'm okay with that because they knocked my socks off. You can buy the sauce separately if you want....and I should have. And our server was super personable, checked on us frequently, great guy. The bathrooms are downstairs. Very clean though, not hard to find once you ask. It's okay to ask. Parking is limited. Some is restricted (boo), but there is free parking across the street or a short walk from Village Parking (one street back from Main St). I don't know when we will be back up this way, but we are huge Bills fans, so perhaps, and if so we are totally coming back. Highly...
