Amia's Delicatessen — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

This Deli has been nothing but disappointing: One occasion they gave my wife a sandwich with only bread and lettuce but no turkey. I thought this was kind of comical at first but my wife basically had nothing to eat for lunch that day, we were on the water and I already had my lunch. With my sandwich they did not put any mayonnaise as requested and therefore it was very dry and tasteless even though the turkey was fresh. The next time I went to this deli the same problem occurred: During our fishing trip I couldn't wait to have lunch but to only be disappointed with another dry turkey wrap without mayonnaise. I normally do not write reviews about food but this deli really has a problem with their service. We were happy to have a new deli in East Meadow since Subway shutdown but Amia's has been a major let down. The owner should realize the crappy service he is selling to people, there are other places to go. Finally I really question some of the reviews about this place, many reviewers are from out of town, probably friends...

I love Amias delicatessen. Great food, little pricey, but worth it. Delivery driver accidentally drop my jumbo iced coffee by accident, she owned up to it and only charged me for the sandwich.

4/15/21,Today they had on hold for 10mins, finally placed my order asked him how much put me hold again, and than tells me delivery driver left for the day. He should've told me from the jump. They're customer service is slippin'.

Amias charges $25.00 for 15pc Buffalo wings, while other Restaurants charge $13.00 for 15pc. Someone at Amias delicatessen told me reason for price hike is because Corona virus 2 years ago I didn't know chickens could get the covid virus. Maybe chickens should've wore masks too. Just saying.

Tasty fresh food and a great menu for a deli. There's something for everyone here. We've never been disappointed in anything we've ordered. The staff is friendly, the store is clean the food is delicious and fresh. No one makes a better sandwich, the salads are fresh and tasty and the wraps are amazing! They even offer the option of a gluten free wrap here. I have celiac and I've eaten a gluten free grilled chicken wrap with munster and Amia's sauce a couple of dozen times since moving nearby, without any issue. It's so good, I get it at least once a week. AND they carry Boars Head cold cuts at a reasonable price per lb. If it's busy inside (I've seen a line out the door once or twice), I promise you it's worth the wait. They'll get you in and out quickly and you'll leave there with something fantastic to...
