Called for a take-out order. Food was ready within 15 minutes and it was pretty delicious! My meal was ruined though because of the sour taste a manager James had left. After taking my order on the phone a different employee put me on hold so he could give me the total. Manager James had ACCIDENTALLY picked up my line and began verbally attacking me out of nowhere. (From the first 2 sentences he spoke it was clear his tone was meant for someone else) In shock, I gave him two tries to recover. I first told him "whoa whoa whoa sir I think you have the wrong line I was just waiting for my total, I just put in an order" as well as "can you please check with your other employees I was just on the phone with them." Both times without any hesitation and no effort in the name of SERVICE did he even attempt to amend the situation. (He kinda had the 'IM IN YOUR FACE' kinda tone) Eventually, the original employee got back on the line, apologized for the misunderstanding, and finished up my call. Lastly, James never got back on the phone to apologize for the error.
As a MANAGER of the establishment, James, you are a representation and an image of the standards you want the public to see the restaurant as. Under no circumstances, whether a call is escalated to you and the person on the phone is previously arguing with your employee or you just so happen to pickup the wrong line, should you ever start a conversation with the hostile tone that you had. Even if I was a person complaining, having a manager come onto the phone like that throws any thought of deescalation out the window.
Thank you for ruining my otherwise delicious meal and throwing a couple hundred dollars out the...
Read moreUnfortunately our experience wasn't as good. I know that this isn't Bryan and cooper's but was hoping for that good service was like it since they have the same owner . I brought my husband here for a surprise birthday dinner with some of him family. The restaurant was very slow that night and we sat upstairs in the back with was great but our server rushed us like he wanted to go home . When we finished dinner of course we wanted dessert and to sing happy birthday. I of course left the table to request that to happen. Two of our guest left the table to use the bathroom and I asked if we could wait a moment until they got back to sing . The server stated only 1 more minute he didn't even wait he came straight to the table . Seriously that was rude in my opinion. Then I told him that I would be taking care of the bill when it was time . We still had our dessert and wanted more drinks . He went ahead and brought the bill smh . So I closed out which was my fault because the rest of the party wanted more drinks there was still another hour before the restaurant closed so I didn't feel bad about it one bit . We had a request the server back by the busboy and he seemed very upset and annoyed that we wanted more drinks . After the drinks arrived the wait staff came back to our table every 5 minutes asking if we were done with the dessert its clear that were not and had to tell them noo ! Unfortunately after this being our 1st time there . We will not...
Read moreI must say that me and my wife hand a wonderful experience at Majors. The food was delicious, and though the steak was very good, what stood out the most for us was the clams! Omg ! The clam oreganata was out of this world ! The service was also top notch! John was our waiter, and though it was crazy busy in there he was super attentive. We did not wait long for anything. Even the owner went around checking on all his guest. You see , this is what’s missing from a lot of steak houses. It’s the experience of feeling like your part of a family, not just a paying customer. I ordered the porter house steak and I found it to be very flavorful. I was able to pull parts of the meat right off with my fork… talk about tender! Had me usual jack and coke and my wife had some Zinfandel. All the drink came out quickly, and my wife’s wine tasted delicious and sweet like it was supposed to. I really can’t find any negatives about this place. Hmmm ok, perhaps a bigger parking lot lol. As they were packed and we couldn’t find spots … but no biggie we just parked close by on the street. Other than that I highly recommend this steak house. Great food and a family friendly atmosphere. Oh and before I forget … get the key lime pie…...
