Bedford Ave Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I wish I was able to give no stars, this food establishment worked the Bellmore street fair today. My fiancé had $20 to purchase a $10 penne ala vodka. He received the penne ala vodka and paid them $10. He then saw ginger ale and asked to purchase it. They said it was $13, he’s confused as he already paid for the pasta dish and they claim that he didn’t and wouldn’t let him leave until he paid the $13. I advised the employee I’d like to speak with a manger regarding the situation and they refused and when I tried to explain how they were wrong they just walked away. They STOLE MY FIANCÉ’s money. I wouldn’t support a business that steals from their customers and won’t even hear them out....

Imagine being starving, running on no breakfast and calling a deli ready to order food. Then you're told they're "closing early today" and you don't get breakfast now, fine. Then you wait a couple weeks and try it again, this time they don't even pick up the phone after about five calls, about an hour before they're supposed to close. I ordered a menu item from the website when it was delivered it wasn't at all what I had ordered so I called to let them know that I received the wrong order. They then had told me that the sandwich I requested was no longer on the menu. The person who took my order never said anything about this.
