Domoishi — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Just had a horrible experience. I went online and I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Chicken for 2. Apparently because I didnt select 2 orders they only made one and I didnt get the one for free. I was ordering dinner for my kids by the way. I called because I was confused about why I only got one. The manager told the staff to hang up the phone on me twice and the first time when I called back they had it transferred to an answering service. I had tried to compromise and ask for them to make the second order and I will come and pick it up since it was my fault for not adding the second order on (keep in mind I recently injured myself and I order because its difficult to move some days). I was told they wouldn't recieve the tax write off or whatever for the food so they can't do it even though I already ordered one order. EXTREMELY BAD BUSINESS. I will accept my fault in the not properly placing the order but I will not accept the rudeness by the manager nor the blatant exuse of not receiving credit for the food if I came to retrieve it. So, one order of food you would have given away for the deal anyway you got to keep for your tax credit along with the rudeness shown to a customer. All leading to a bad review for all other customers to see, good job 👏.

What a treat to have Domoishi here in West Hempstead! We have gotten Poké bowls on a number of occasions and have NEVER been disappointed! The portions are always very generous, the salmon and tuna are very fresh, and there is a wide assortment of ingredients and sauces to choose from to assemble a delicious and satisfying bowl. I especially like the ginger sesame, yumyum and honey Wasabi (sweet & spicy) sauces. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The eatery is amazingly clean and spotless and the decor is very inviting. We are so impressed with the quality and taste of the Poké bowls that we have yet to discover other dishes on the menu -- such as the Ramen. There is a large choice of bubble teas to accompany your meal -- I particularly like the Matcha bubble tea! So lucky to have Domoishi in West Hempstead -- it's my go-to place for a great take-out meal, although I'm anxious to try a dine-in experience! Delicious food -- a must try! You will not be disappointed! My parents just discovered Domoishi and since then we have ordered poke bowls twice. The portions of the bowls are very generous between the rice, greens, veggie toppings, and fresh salmon & tuna. We were very impressed by how fresh and delicious everything was. There are also many sauces to choose from to complete the bowl, we especially liked the Sriracha mayo and ginger sesame. The bowls are nicely put together and are very filling. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to go back and try the other items on the menu. In addition to the bowls they have Ramen and bubble tea!
